These can be tricky to install if you haven’t done it before. You will need jewelers pliers to tighten and shape the metal to the ring, and possibly a lighted magnifying lamp if you have trouble seeing small things. If you’re not sure, take the ring to your local jeweler. Most jewelers have some of these on hand and don’t charge much to put it in for you.

I had lost a significant amount of weight and my wedding band (white gold with diamonds) was at risk of falling off my finger. During COVID, I was reluctant to go to a jeweler in person to have it resized, so I thought this would be a great temporary alternative.I put the medium sized ring guard on the ring. It stayed tight for less than a week before starting to bend because the metal is so thin. Of course, I had to bend it back into shape, and within 10 days, the metal had fatigued and snapped.Please note that I am NOT hard on my jewelry and am not in a job that puts pressure on any rings that are worn. Needless to say, after restrictions were relaxed a little, I donned my mask and gloves and went in person to the jeweler's.Unfortunately, I cannot recommend these ring guards. The metal is way too thin and flimsy and will not hold up to normal wear and tear. The size difference in my ring was from a 10 1/2 to a 9 1/2, so there was not a huge gap to be covered with a guard.Personally, it's better to spend the $50-75 to have a professional jeweler resize the ring, plus you don't risk scratching the gold with a metal ring guard.

Once you figure how to use these to put onto rings they're great. Takes some time though but worth it.

I like this product, but I wish have a explanation of the size of them, my fingers are small Sonso my rings, and what I received was 3 sizes of the metal to resize my rings, was easy to place on it do ! It work well

I needed a ring sizer to keep my ring from twirling.After trying several plastic ring guard unsuccessfully, I tried this metal one. The instructions on placing it in the ring were confusing and more problematic installation required the use of a small pliers which I do not own. I used a tweezer which did a less than successful installation. Although it is still on my ring and has somewhat reduced the twirling it is far from professional. As soon as I can get to a jeweler I will replace it.

These did not fit the rings. I don't know if it is just that my ring size is too small but the fit was terrible. I returned them.

Saw the many bad reviews. Just started using so may amend review in the future, However, right now an pleased with these guards, easy to apply, very comfortable. wish set could be the same size, but made them work. Mush better and more comfortable than the plastic tube like ones. (see my review of those). So far so good for me anyway. Thanks!
