Olly Protein + Super Foods Bar Peanut Butter Chocolate 6.3oz( 1.6oz x 4 bars), pack of 1

I've tried four different flavors of Olly's shakes and found all of them to be superior to other brands because it is not too sweet. Most brands simply add too much sweetness to cover the taste of what the powder. But Olly got it just right. So I decided to try their other products and this was the first. I was disappointed and surprised. The bar was so sweet that it was almost bitter. I couldn't finish the first bar after two bites. So as not to waste it, I forced the rest of the bar down with some English tea, which helped dampen the sweetness. I won't be buying the bars again, but those with a sweet tooth might like it.

These say protein bars and people are expecting a cookie like taste because it is round. My daughter is vegetarian and really likes these, and I love that she is getting good protein and iron out of them. With lots of flavors this is a great protein bar!It doesn’t taste like a cookie because isn’t one, people.

It looks like a thick round cookie, but does not taste like one.Worse, it does not taste very good :-(- Way too sweet- Peanut butter flavor comes through, but not much in the way of chocolate- Texture is... very ugh-protein-bar-like. Dense. Opposite of light and flakey.Bought a pack of 4. Couldn't finish 1. Will donate the rest to colleagues.

The Olly brand is one of my absolute favorites especially when it comes to their gummy vitamins, but these new protein bars aren't great. As another reviewer mentioned, they're shaped like a cookie but do not be fooled - they're not even close. The texture I'd say is similar to most all protein bars - hard, chewy and grainy - which doesn't bother me as all except for the fact that the taste that comes after is pretty bad. It's plant-based so maybe you're anticipating it but for me, not worth the higher price and probably won't purchase again.

Liked the taste. Very filling.
