Very informative, and such a great book.
I love this book! I was Catholic before becoming a Muslim therefore I grew up loving Prophet Isa just as Muslims love Prophet Muhammad, phuh. So when I saw this book, it made me happy because I want to know more about him from the Quran and Islamic point of view. Thank you for selling this publication, it means so much to me. I love each prophet, and I appreciate that Islam has so in-depth with everything.

Great Read!
At an advanced age, I’m learning the truth about Jesus and Christianity. I’m a devote Muslim, but I see a lot misconceptions that Christians have falsely place on Muslims regarding Jesus. The truth always manifest itself.

Great Book about Jesus in Islam
A great easy to read book about Jesus in Islam, with clear Quranic and Biblical verses. The book has nice comparisons of the true teachings of Jesus and how Muslims follow Jesus ethically and morally. I recommend this for any person who is interested in seeking knowledge of Jesus and his role as a prophet in Islam.

Traditional Muslim view on Jesus
If you want to know the traditional Muslim views on Jesus, this is a good place to start. That said, if you care to learn about what we can say about the actual historical figure of Jesus, this isn’t it. This book relies heavily on the the “Stories of the Prophets” by Ibn Kathir, who himself was basically using the Gospel accounts and retouching them to make them align with his own views. Some places he accepts them uncritically, while in other places he seems to have completely different versions. Of course there are no sources cited either, so essentially they’re just pious fiction. Then there are stories that Ibn Kathir cites, which biblical scholars know fully well now were Christian forgeries (ex: woman caught in adultery from gospel of John), that this book propagates further. This is lazy scholarship, though admittedly this book isn’t scholarly. It’s well known that this story from the Gospels isn’t found in any of our earliest manuscripts and was a later Christian addition. So at least a book like this should be careful not to cite it.It also refers to the views of the second century Christian gnostic Basilides in order to make the claim that early Christians believed Jesus wasn't crucified. This is just silly and misleading. Basilides also thought that there was more than one God and the god of the Hebrew Bible was an evil god! So to try to pass him off as some pious proto-Muslim who was a follower of the original followers of Jesus is poor polemics. I would urge Muslims to read better books on Jesus than stuff like this. Mustufa Akyol’s “Islamic Jesus” is a great read. He at least refers to actual scholarship instead of regurgitating outdated medieval polemics.
