The 3/4 ounce Works Great for water from 15-20 foot.
Weeds or rocks or dips were no problems. I bought one of each (3/4, 1 oz. 1 1/2 ounce) weight to cover bottoms 15-45 feet. I fish a lot of lakes I know nothing about, but because I can stay on or near bottom, I catch more fish, avoiding obstacles (rocks, weeds) and this device is a winner.
