Seems to work good, I have poor eyesight so have some trouble reading it but others are able to see it alright

I think these instant meat thermometers are great. They are perfect for steaks on the grill,Chicken in the oven, or whatever meat you are cooking. When you pull out the wand it comesOn and as soon as you insert it into the meat,you get an instant temperature reading, very quick and accurate.

This thermometer is very easy to read in either farenheit or Celsius. It has a bright backlight, making it east to read while grilling at night. Not only is it good for checking your meat temperature, I have used mine to check the tempurature of dark room chemicals and as a candy thermometer.This thermometer is waterproof which makes it easy to clean with dish soap and water. It uses the very common CR1032 Lithium battery with an o-ring sealed battery cap that can be opened with any coin. It has a strong internal magnet allowing me to keep it on the front of my refridgerator for instant access. No more searching through an over stuffed drawer. The thermometer will read from -50C to 300C/-58F to 572F making it a very useful all around thermometer. It also has a hold button for taking readings where the display isn't visible to the user.
