it's great! But watch the movie first before listening to this!
I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. And I really loved the Fantastic Beasts movies too! I honestly wasn't really expecting much from this audiobook, but I honestly thought it was great! I do suggest to watch the movie first before listening to this.I loved Dan Fogler narrating this! He made it so funny, comical, and it was an experience for sure. I also loved the music and sound effects that they put in the audiobook. It has that feel of being immersive and it feels like you're there. The noise of the people working behind the interviewee feels like you are actually listening to them in their environment. The audiobook definitely has that feel of watching the bonus footage and behind the scenes in a DVD but just in an audio and you're listening to it than watching it.This really made me want to watch the movie again and just pay closer attention to the costumes, the music, the wands, the sets, and everything else in between. If you really liked the Harry Potter and the Fantastic Beasts movies, I definitely recommend this. And I would really love to listen to more of these for the future movies.

Use your Audible free trial, not worth the price.
Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed this. Dan Fogler is fantastic. He carried the audio book. There are many audio clips from interviews throughout the book. I enjoyed these, though many of them were shared with the extra features that come with the movie, and are of a noticeable lesser audio quality. During the interviews you can hear echoes, and it almost sounds out of place. A fun thing to listed to for Harry Potter fans, but they don't give spoilers. I definitely would give your audible free trial a shot to get the book for free and keep the audiobook.

Nice history lessons of the magical world for muggles.
Dan Folger does an awesome job of detailing all the behind the scenes of the different depts coustume design and development of the wands for each character and why they chose that design as well as the concept of and fruition of the additional beasts. The actors take part in discussing the development of their characters. And it’s Dan Folger for goodness sakes I found myself laughing out loud in the car. At first I was disappointed that it wasn’t the actual book, but got over it quickly.

Should have been free and released well before the film
This was clearly originally designed as marketing to be listen to BEFORE the movie came out. They don't talk about any of the twists or plot turns and say you will have to watch the film to find out what actually happens (even for something as trivial as why Dumbledore casts a fog spell in London, which is just to hide his meeting with Newt, which is already in the trailers!). It is an extended ad that should have been a series of free featurettes to get hyped about the film. $30 is insane and they should be ashamed.

Waste of time and money, even for Potter fans
This is a 5 hour ad for the movie.
