I am a longtime lover of Birkenstocks and am always looking for a new twist. I was so excited when I found these and put them in my shopping cart immediately. The oiled blue leather is fantastic and works well with jeans. The straps were comfortable from the first moment I put them on my feet. No rubbing or blisters, just the usual time needed for the cork soles to conform to your feet. I try not to duplicate my Birks, but another pair of Franca's may find their way into my closet anyway.The shoes did arrive in a plastic bag rather than the traditional Birkenstock box, but are definitely the real thing. I ordered size 8-8.5 and got the 39 Regulars expected.

The straps are adjustable for fit. The base provides great support. The straps are stiff when new because they are leather, but they break in pretty quickly. Their weight is as expected. They are not super-lightweight because they are not plastic.

Worth the cost! These shoes are so comfortable I forget that I have them on! They look nice with a skirt or shorts

I’m new to the world of Birkenstocks and I thought I’d write a review to help others with sizing, should they have similar features as me. My feet are wide and short. In a brand like Saucony, my best fitting shoes, with socks on, are 7 wide or 7.5 wide. Most of the shoe brands I like are not available in wide so I sometimes order size 7.5 or even 8 to accommodate for width. I have a pair of Nike sneakers that are size 8. I own a pair of heeled sandals from Target that are also size 8. It just depends on the shoe, the heel height, if I’m wearing socks, etc. I first tried a different pair of Birkenstocks in size 38 (7) but after slipping them on, they were too long both behind my heels and at the front of my toes. I tried a size 37 (6) in the thong style sandal and the leather piece rubbed something terrible between my toes. Then, I tried these in the tobacco leather in size 37 (6) and they are the best fit so far. The leather is very thick so I assume it will take some time to break them in. The length and width are both perfect for my feet. I recommend following the fit sizing on the Birkenstock shoebox or website.

I bought a girls 2.5 I’m an adult with a small foot. This is my regular size and it fit perfect. They we packaged great and came exactly as expected. Super cute! Worth the money. Pretty comfort a bd high arch support.

When u find the right size for such a small foot well its amazing and the price you can't beat!!! Was so happy to find this rare gem. The shoes fit like it was made for her. So comfy well like an old pair of shoes lol.

I purchased these in April for the summer season. Reading reviews from people who had them for 15 years, and loved Birkenstock. My experience hasn't been long lasting. These are my first and probably last Birkenstocks. After getting them broke in, (I experience blisters that covered my entire arch, on both feet, which turned into calluses.) But after that, they were very comfortable, I wore them constantly. However now after 4 months of use, they are falling apart. the rubber bottom is coming off the bottom, and the cork is coming apart on the one sandal.

I finally see why people are always raving about Birkenstocks. These sandals just get more comfortable every time I wear them. I have a really small foot and the child's size 34 fit me perfectly. The shoe feels sturdy but comfortable and I love the style. It's a little more trendy looking that the traditional Birkenstock style sandal.

O design

I returned this product as I found it very hard to walk on. I have been spoiled by using sketchers for years which have a cushioned sole. So be aware of this. Years ago I used to be able to wear Birkenstocks but now I am elderly and find them too uncomfortable, age 75.

Esteticamente, questo modello mi calza meglio di quanto mi aspettassi ma con il plantare il feeling non è stato immediato. Il primo giorno mi sono uscite le vesciche alle piante di entrambi i piedi e nei giorni successivi un po' le mettevo e un po' le abbandonavo per le scarpe da ginnastica. Il tempo di guarire e di far ammorbidire il plantare (parliamo di 3-4 giorni) e ho capito perché tutti parlano bene di questo marchio. Ad oggi dico che non ho mai indossato sandali più comodi di questi, tanto che spesso li uso come pantofole per casa.Prodotto originale (venduto e spedito da Amazon, quindi sono andata sul sicuro), in imballaggio impeccabile e consegnato in tempi ragionevolissimi al locker sotto casa. È la prima volta che compro un sandalo della Birkenstock. Ero un poco scettica, invece devo ricredermi. Avendo il piede magro ho preso un numero in meno del solito quindi 36. Sono comode, all'inizio bisogna abituarsi. Le ho trovate a un prezzo molto inferiore del negozio e quindi le consiglio.

La ciabatta ha un'ottima calzata, quando ce l'hai fai fatica a non usarla e la utilizzi tutta l'estate. Peccato per il prezzo un po' altino.
