Nice Little Cable, Works as Expected
Update on bottom.I got this to power my small dac/amp with a portable rechargeable battery. So far so good. It feels like a well made quality cable and the one other cable I have from CableCreation has held up well so I would expect this to be no different. It is just pliable enough that it will bend while stacking my battery and amp and it supplies the power just fine so it is working as intended.I’ll update my review should I run into any issues but for now it is easy to recommend for the price.[UPDATE] cable no longer functions reliably. I have made no sharp bends or bends any more angled than it is pictured. There is a break in the cable because I can get the power to draw sometimes but at this point it won’t be something I use.

Save your money. Stopped working correctly after 3 months.
I purchased this cord at the end of November 2017. For $5 I figured it was worth a try. I was using the cord on a Anker power pack and it worked well, until the beginning of March 2018. I probably used the cord a dozen or so times before it stopped working as designed. Now it will work, but the cord has to be bent at just the right angle and if it moves ever so slightly, no power. It unfortunate, because this cord it the perfect length for the power pack.

Initial cable went bad, but replacement working well.
Initially, I was very happy with the cable. It looks nice and it flexes well, but after a month of use, it stopped making a reliable connection. I use it to occasionally connect an external battery to my phone, so it does get some wear being in and out of my pocket. But in order for it to work now, I have to apply a little pressure to the micro USB connector that connects to the phone. It's not an issue with the phone's connector. I see the same issue using the cable with other devices, and I have no problem if I use a different cable. I don't think it's a short in the wire; slight upward pressure on the connector establishes a connection, but letting go loses the connection and the connector barely moves.Update: The seller contacted me and offered to send a free replacement. They were very nice and quickly sent the new cable. I would give them five stars for customer service. Consequently, I'm temporarily increasing this review to three stars. I have received the replacement cable and will update after I've had a chance to use it for a month or so, to see if I experience the same issue.Update: The new cable has held up for two months. Hopefully that means the first one was just a fluke.

I wish I could say something nice
But sadly, the connector is too small and therefore will not stay plugged into my device. I have several other microUSB cables that I have no problem with on this device. I wanted this cable because the distance I need is only about 2" and I've been using a standard 24 or 36" cable. They connect fine so I know it's not my device. When I plug the microUSB connector in, within seconds it simply shakes loose and disconnects. Too cheap to even bother trying to return as the cost to return ship would make it not worth my time.

Great until it stopped working
This was a perfect cable for my countertop charging station until it stopped working. It was delivered on July 22, 2018 and stopped working mid-September. Even though it wasn't very expensive I expected to get longer than 2 months out of it.

Fantastic way to reduce clutter in your bag
I carry around a lot of devices, especially when traveling, but I don't have the patience for dealing with a ton of cables. Enter the small cables: enough to charge a device, not so long they get tangled and messy. This little guy is perfect for that. It's long enough to reach from any charger -- especially one on your desk -- but doesn't get in the way in your bag. It's well-built, feels study in the hand, and fits nicely in my bag. Perfect solution, especially considering that you get TWO!

Durable and Works still charging phones after..
So after a month and putting my charger battery and phone in my pocket to walk around with it at my job ( Avg 17000 steps as day) then I noticed the spot where the braid goes into the connector started to fray and black string material seperated the white under braid did not.The cable is not opened the charger cable still works and its able to do hi speed charge. The size is perfect to fold in half with charger on one side and phone in the other and inside my pocket.I have owned the two cables since August its December. I am satisfied but I now make sure the cable stays out of my pocket or sticks out to avoid further fraying. I believe it is the best braided cable I have owned.

Perfect little cable for Octopi
I got this cable to connect my Raspberry Pi Octoprint server to my 3D printer. I have the RPI mounted right near the micro USB port on the printer and this cable is the perfect length. The cable appears to be very good quality. It will be plugged in all the time so I’m not too worried about durability issues. Just a note if you are connecting a Raspberry Pi to your 3D printer, you will want to put a piece of electrical tape over the 5v pin in the USB A sIde of the cable otherwise the RPI will send power to the 3D printer which can cause all sorts of bad things. Google Octoprint USB 5v for more info.

It does what it should !
It's a cable, what is there to review. It has a standard USB A on one end and a micro-USB on the other, with a decent, flexible fabric sheathed cable in between. What I do like though it's the pretty much the ideal length to power the Amazon FireTV stick from the USB port of a spare TV, instead of having to use the mains adapter. The cable is also ideal if running your smartphone from an external 'power bank'.It does the job and seemed durable (so far).Nowt else to say.

NEWS SHOCK: Cable reaches from socket to device. User delighted.
Perfectly sized for in my car where I use it with a 2-port USB charger (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B019XP8PMM/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2)The position of the charging socket is so close to the tray where I rest the phone that I didn't want a long cable dangling around. This has been ideal. The cable itself is stiffer and less flexible than I expected, but that hasn't caused any problems in practice - just a comment. What more can I say? I've had it for a few months now, it works well and there's not much else you can write about a cable.

Just The Job.
This cable is just the job.It does exactly what I need it to.Having abandoned my iPhone and switched to Android, I needed a similar cable to the one I had for the iPhone to hook my new phone up to the Car Stereo and didn't want a long dangly cable. due to the fact that my phone slots into a grill bracket.I've had all sorts of issues sycning iTunes to the phone which, are thankfully solved, but this cable is working perfectly and is the perfect length for my needs.I would thoroughly recommend this cable.

Suits its purpose.
I got this cable to connect my Raspberry Pi to a portable charger, so only needed a small cable, and for that purpose it works as intended. One thing to keep in mind is that it can be a bit stiff, so if the connections are upside down, then it'll be a bit harder to twist the cable for it (and I always feel like I'm going to damage it when doing that), but luckily that's not the case with my Pi. If I have any problems I'll update the review.

Perfect for a car
I bought this as a charger/data cable for my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge - to use in my car without having to tidy away excess cable. It's perfect! The cable feels durable and the connector into the phone feels solid. Would definitely recommend.
