Fabulous set! Very heavy and well made. I read reviews on a ton of Ceramic Skillets and these had the best reviews. I like the heat ring and the conduction design distributes heat very evenly. I still love my cast iron and use them for anything that needs to go in the oven or frying, however, many things cannot be cooked in cast iron so these are the ticket! The pans are thick and I like the black color interior coating as well as the Tuscany exterior design. Before you pay a ton for Henckels and All Clad be sure to check these out. If you want skillets to put in the oven then you shouldn't purchase these. I seasoned mine and they work perfect....no sticking whatsoever. There are no rivets which makes them very easy to clean. I have never put a skillet or pan of any kind in my dishwasher but they say they are dishwasher safe. Also, they say you can use metal utensils but I use silicone utensils just be on the safe side and I line them with thick dish towels when storing to avoid scratching the interior surface. This set is very high quality and you pay a fraction of the cost for the entire set as you would for one 12" name brand skillet. I have no regrets!

Seems like a heavy duty pan, but like many other pans I've tried, it worked well for a while, then food started sticking. I don't like the design of the lid handle.

As you'll see from my earlier review, I was very favorably impressed with these pans initially. But "it's too early too say how they will hold up" turns out to have been very important.After very substantial use, the large pan is no longer non-stick. Eggs, bacon, hamburger, steak -- all stick and have to be worked loose in cooking. (This does not happen so much on the medium pan, which has seen a lot less use, but it is becoming an increasing problem there.) This happens even when I have lightly pre-oiled the pan. Once the pan is filled with fat from cooking, the problem disappears (on the bottom -- but the un-coated sides will still grab any meat that come in contract).My pans have always been hand-washed with a Teflon-backed sponge, and have not been subjected to metal implements or to rapid cooling after cooking, so I do not think that I've done anything beyond normal use to hurt them .I note one other review that mentions loss of non-stick property over time.Bottom line -- a great item for about 6-9 months, then a great disappointment.----These pans truly are non-stick. I haven't set out to see how easy it is to destroy the cooking surfaces, and in fact use the same plastic and wooden utensils that I used on my Teflon pans. So it's too early to say how they will hold up.As other have noted, the smallest pan is over-balanced by its handle; until you have something in it it is unstable at best. This is the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars.As to the designs on the outside, I'm a function over form sort of person, so I can take them or leave them.

I've had this set for almost a year and it is still like new. I use them mostly daily. I use the 12" roughly 60 percent of the time, the 10" 25%, and 8" 15 percent of the time.First of all I love how these are non stick. When I say non stick I mean I have yet to have anything stick to them. Next I love that they are PTFE and PFOA free. No cancer causing chemicals that I know of and that's the big reason why I bought this set. Third, they are rivet free which makes them much easier to clean along with being germ and bacteria free. The weight and feel of everything is great, very high quality even after a year.The only drawback is that my largest pan has warped a tiny bit on my flat top stove. I could be mistaken-- I believe I remember reading to only use this up to medium heat and I have followed those instruction. However, I can't speak for the guests in my house. I'd be surprised if someone hasn't cranked up the heat a time or two really putting them to the test. Regardless, there has been a tiny bit of warping on my largest pan for whatever reason. Despite being very satisfied I must knock a star off. I'd give it 4.5 if I could. Well worth the money, would definitely buy again.

loved the fry pans with the exception that they were suppose to go into the dishwasher and when you do the shiny aluminum on the bottom turns black and rubs off on everything. Have to wash by hand

I bought these several months ago because it was the only set I could find in 3 sizes and with lids. Since I never really believe what I see on TV I wasn't sure these would be as good as advertised. As soon as I opened the package I cooked an egg. I had to "chase" it around the pan to flip it over. I was impressed. These pans cook evenly and clean up with little to no effort. The fact that the outside is also non-stick is a real plus. The design is in my opinion excellent and I expect them to last forever. They are heavy and I had to adjust to the weight compared the the non-stick pans I had been using. The handles are large and easy to grip and there is a pouring lip on one side for draining food. The lids are vented to allow steam to escape. I have only a couple of suggestions. I had someone ask me if they could go in the oven and I had no idea, so perhaps some information regarding general use would be helpful. I would like to see them in different colors. Red doesn't really match my kitchen and since they are on the stove most of the time I would like to see a choice of colors for those of us who like keep things color coordinated. I have recommended these to others and will continue to do so.
