They're very sharp! Love the wood on the handles and the etching on the blades. The cleavers are my favorite knives ever. I get lots of compliments from dinner guests on the steak knives!

Love this set of knives but for the price I was disappointed to find the wood block had some damage to it. Had to remove one star for what I imagine is a packaging issue.

I received this as a gift! I love how sharp these knives are! The knifes cut everything better than any other knife I have ever had! These appear to be sharpenable. I haven’t done that yet!

Overall the product seems to be great, only time will tell. However, the block that comes with the knives isn't designed properly, or mine is a mfg defect. Two knives barely fit in the block and one doesn't fit unless forced in and at a slight angle, thus the knives will be dulled as they carve into the block when stored as designed.

The knives are as beautiful as the photo. The wooden handles make them stand out. They're so sharp, my partner cut himself while removing them from the plastic.They cut through steak like butter.Before buying them,, I read a few posts about rust. I ALMOST didn't buy them because of those comments. I'm glad those comments didn't stop me.Since they have wooden handles, I hand wash & dry them before putting them in the block. I haven't noticed any issue with rust.At this point, I'm choosing to believe those commenters, are caring for their knives appropriately. More than likely, cleaning them in the dishwasher & placing them in the block wet/damp.I was looking for a knife set for a long time. The beauty, sharpness, quality & quantity of this set couldn't be beat by anything I researched in the store or online.If you buy this set, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

We just got done renovating our kitchen and wanted a nice set of knives that wouldn't break the bank after some research I stumbled across this set and pulled the trigger out of the box they felt great in my hand and over all was pleased with the quality. They are sharp and cut like butter the only issue I've noticed is the handles are starting to dry out from the dishwasher they do appear to be real wood so I ordered some mineral oil to make sure they stay hydrated I will update the review on if that seems to do the trick for the handles! Over all great value for the money.

I was tired of getting knives from big stores, so I did my research and found this product. I love to cook and my biggest issues was not being able to cut meats or tomatoes without smushing them. These knives cut any kind of meat like cutting butter with a hot knife. They are beautiful and made with great quality. The grip can get slippery when wet and make your hand slip causing painful cuts. I cut myself twice just washing them for the first time. Never felt it, only noticed because of the blood. I love the knives, however; the only issue is the scissors are hard to use. It is hard to cut anything because they have to open wide enough to get around food. My hands are not small either. Still loves this set. o

I would have given it 5 stars if it came super sharp. Everything else is great. Just had to sharpen it before my first use.

It was next day delivery and it does look sharp, i have not used it yet as i wanted it for cutting meats hence cannot comment on the sharpness and how long it will remain sharp if it is sharp.

This knife is fantastic, it’s the very best knife I have ever held and used,,It slices through a Bone in Chicken Breast, with the ease of a hot knife through butter,I first tested it on a ripened tomato, and for the first time in 30+ years, a knife has performed like the commercials show..If you get this I do believe that you will be happy 😃
