Here is the important info you should know about this product:1- This product is difficult to find if your local beauty stores don't carry it. $5-6 is properly priced, I wouldn't pay more for it simply because the cost/return ratio is maxed at $6. However, once you've decided if it works for you, I suggest you buy several because running out is not an easy fix and even with Prime you have a couple days wait.2- A container does not go far or last long. I use two-three dips a day (just like a dip for applying mascara) and a container lasts me about a month. I only smooth small areas, such as along my front part line to smooth the baby/breakaways, a dip for the short hairs by the ears, and a dip for the nape of my neck when I pull my hair up.3- Works fantastic for the small areas but is NOT the best, or even a reasonable option, for large areas, such as smoothing your entire head for a tight updo. I like it better than my pomade for these small areas along the hairline because it is easier to apply, isn't as thick, and doesn't make me breakout with daily use like a pomade can.4- I do not think this would work well for course/thick, hard to tame hair unless it is to tame small spots like I listed above. I have "regular" (meaning not thin, not thick, not course, not curly, not difficult to tame) straight, fairly smooth hair. The formula is fairly light and I find that if I want a better hold I have to do a quick double application (before the first dries) and then finish the hold with a glossy hair spray. I have some greys, they come in course and kinked, and are more difficult to smooth/keep in place with just a swipe...this is the ONLY basis I have for my opinion about it maybe not working well on those hair types. However, it will still work, you will just have to apply a lot and it really just does not have a lot of product in the container. Think clear mascara...because it literally is just like clear mascara or eyebrow smoothing serum in regards to the hold strength and application of product.5- I love the mascara container approach, it makes it easy to use and easy to stick in your purse for touch ups. However, this container has the same downsides as mascara...no warning as to when you just dipped your last dip and it is absolutely impossible to access the remaining product on the bottom or along the ridge, so there is some frustrating waste due to the design.Having said those things, it has become part of my daily need to give a more polished touch to my hair do and keep areas that normally just stick straight up in place better without using a ton of hairspray.

Totally works, but I noticed my hair kinda got wavy and didn't stay completely against my head. I also got 100% castor oil and that worked just as well and kept my hair soft.

I like this product to tame edges before I put on gel. In my opinion, this does not take the place of a gel, but together really helps tames the frizz and flyaways. I do think that the price is too high for the amount you receive. I won't buy again unless discounted, because it doesn't hold by itself.

I have thin hair and no matter what, after a wash and blow-dry, I'll have those little buggers sporadically popping up. On the best hair day, ever; they still somehow seem to come find me. I have tried multiple serums to tame my flyaways. MOST, just leave my hair looking greasy. (Thin hair...naturally oily/combo skin; anyways). This STUFF IS THE BOMB!!! It is super easy to apply, just make - sure when you apply, you do it slowly. It is A "Mascara - type applicator"; can pull / tug on your hair if it is super thin, like mine. Highly recommend!!!! A coworker of mine told me about this stuff, it's SUPER hard to find! SO worth it. When it sadly, Runs Out, I will be buying more!!!

I haven’t found anything else to replace this product to deal with my flyaways and frizzies. Also it’s so convenient. You can carry it in your purse and it’s available anytime you need it. Brush the hair and instantly no more friz. Plus makes hair soft.

This product didn't make any appreciable difference. Gel works as well or better. This is definitely not worth the money.

It cost a lil too much.., doesn't really get the job done.,, but it fits everywhere
