Bird Brand Complete+ Superior Wood Preserver Clear - 2.5 Litre

I’ve used this product a lot: perhaps 100 litres of woodwork. It goes on well, has good spread and lasts. I’ve had no problems with word treated with this and its predecessor from Bird in a harsh upland environment exposed open to wind and rain for ten years. The cost of repairing the buildings it’s protected would be vastly greater than the cost of using it regularly. Gives a water repellent finish that itself lasts for 12 to 18 months, far less all the anti-rot effect.PS: ideally suited to being sprayed on with a portable ‘blower’ spray gun.

This is a good quality wood preserver which penetrates into the wood giving a deep colour. I have used the standard cheaper fence paints, but these just sit on the surface and don't penetrate into the wood. It is expensive, but it seems to work well - time will tell.
