We need Cherry - not in the past tense, but very much now. Perhaps more than ever. She is a role model of joyful, consensual sex positivity.She is the embodiment of the virtues of the ethical slut as outlined by Dossie Easton in the book of the same title or as Dossie's Bachelor's thesis read, "Sex is Nice and Pleasure is Good for You."Cherry simply is. Be careful with this seller. The name "Cherry Poptart" is listed in the description and in the picture, but when I received the comic in the mail, it was an issue of "Cherry". Very misleading as the "Cherry" version is not really sought after or collectible. Buyer beware.

This item is pure gold to me.

This and issue #1 are THE ones to have as they are the only two issues that read "Cherry Poptart" on the cover. Subsequent issues dropped "Poptart" as Cherry's last name thanks to the makers of Pop-Tarts® toaster pastries threatening legal action. This issue also features Cherry's friend Monica (sort of her "personal trainer") and the one and only (comedic, not sexual) appearance of Cherry's younger sister Cinnamon, who wasn't seen again in the series, due to her implied young age.
