Best. Tool. Ever.
I borrowed a buddy's makita oscillating tool, and it was so easy to use but waaay outside my budget. I bought this DeWalt, thinking I would try it out, and it's honestly not too far off the mark, definitely higher quality than I expected for the price. It doesn't vibrate too hard at all, and the blade change is much easier than the Makita. It's hefty, but no bulkier than any other one I've used. Honestly, it's my go-to tool for diy projects, made installing the last row of luxury vinyl tile floors a cinch... and it's really great for cutting scrap into smaller pieces for whittling or jewelry making. I've not overheated it, but I tend to use it intermittently enough that it hasn't come up. Definitely a great tool so far!

Where has this thing been all my life?
Have had a Dremel oscillating saw for many years, but lately it just wasn't cutting it. Literally. Multiple new blades and the only thing taking a beating was my wrist. I suspect something inside was wearing out. All noise, little cutting. It finally died mid-project. Overheating, sparks, smoke . . . everything bad. Bought this amazing device and it has been a game changer. Cuts that stymied the old unit are now quick and clean. Smooth, fast, and a nice selection of blades. The tool-less blade mounting is a godsend after the old saw where the blade mounting screw was CONSTANTLY backing out, but it did take some getting used to, and requires some major grip strength to utilize. Maybe the only down side of a fabulous tool.

Seal of Approval from Husband
Husband found this very useful for cutting small openings in shelving for a couple of outlets. He was amazed at the job it did and thinks he will be using it often for other home carpentry tasks. The only issue was that the blades wear easily and if not careful, can burn the wood as they’re cutting.

Has held up to hours of use at a time so far
I've used this quite a bit in the last few weeks to make some drywall cuts, but mostly for sanding and rotating triangles to finish out the edging around the walls of our home as we are refinishing floors. I don't know if it's supposed to be used nearly non-stop for hours at a time, but that's what I've been doing for a couple of weekends and, even if it broke tomorrow, helping me get those dang detail sanding jobs done around the house would be well worth the price I paid.I look forward to using it on some other projects coming up and have bought some Diablo cutting attachments for some DIY's that I anticipate having to trim through a few nails and screws. I'm very pleased with the power and performance thus far and doubt it will have any problems with anything new I throw at it after the abuse I've given it with these floors.

Great tool for a great price
At first I was going to buy the Makita cordless 18v because I have batteries but after handling it I found the Makita didn't fit my hands very well, it felt too bulky. The Dewalt 20V multi tool is well designed also but I do not have those batteries and I figured this was a tool I would not use very much so I settled for the corded tool.I have to say I am extremely pleased with my decision. I have used it for sanding and cutting using the supplied accessories and I love this tool. The grip size is great, the paddle variable speed switch is very easy to use and control. It is well balanced. The quick change holds the accessories very firmly, in fact it takes some bit of hand strength to squeeze the lever. I did not find this to be a negative, but a person with arthritis or weaker hands might. I like that it comes with a bag and some accessories to get started. I am sure the cutters that came with it are not of the highest quality which is to be expected considering a single good blade can cost 10-20 dollars and this whole kit was only 99.00.
