100% My Favorite Book Right Now!
I cannot recommend this book enough! It is eye opening. I see my children and even adults in a whole new light. Everything we do is driven by the individual intelligences talked about in this book. I love watching my children expressing themselves and exploring in their own special ways EVEN more than before which I didn't know was possible until I read this book. Get it. I guarantee you. It's 💯% worth it.

Great
Very useful book. I like that the author points out not to use learning styles/MI to pigeon-hole your child...because everyone is a mixture of these learning types and every child should be allowed to learn in every method (but helps point out strengths and weaknesses to aid understanding and enjoyment of learning). He gives a lot of great examples that were inspiring to me in teaching my children. He also gives many great references that I've ended up buying as well and been pleased with (for more guidance on what to do in specific areas and learning styles). This book is a nice mixture of theory (which is well documented), and practical ideas. There is a great resource section in the back that lists books and organizations by topic. I spent a lot of time reading reviews trying to choose some books on learning styles and multiple intelligences that would be useful to me in homeschooling. I'm glad that I chose this as one of them. It is my favorite so far because of both usefulness and writing style.

Classic Child Development Book
Not every child fits the cookie cutter way of learning. This explains how expansively children think, and the different teaching styles that accommodate them.

Great book
This book is excellent - well-researched and easy to read and understand to the lay person like myself. It provides resources for further study and support for each "learning style". My only disappointment was that, personally, we already knew some of this information. I don't want to say it's dated, but just be aware that depending where you live and what type of school your child attends, the schools may have already incorporated various teaching styles to accommodate all learning styles. In other words, schools may already be practicing what this book preaches.

Fantastic. Parents will especially love this book for learning about how their children perceive the world and be able.to adapt their parenting with understanding. Also helped me understand peers and others, and now my relationships with other people are much more eddortless and satisfying. I cannot say enough in praise of this book.
