Collective Soul has always been one of my favorite groups and this live CD/DVD proves why! The music is excellent and their showmanship is awesome! I saw them recently in concert and this CD/DVD captures the spirit of their live show perfectly! Love the addition of the orchestra as it only adds to the power of their music!!! A “must-have”!!

I became a huge fan of this band when Youth was released, today I own every album they've ever made. I love this band, their sound is awesome, the lyrics are great, and unlike most bands where you only like one or two songs on a cd, I love all their songs. Their each addictive in their own nature. I know some people dislike their new sound and prefer their older sound, but I disagree this band has evolved and has only gotten better over the years. Each of their albums can stand on their own merits. For new comers to CS I recommend you start out with Seven year Itch and Youth, this will give you a great selection of past, present, and future. For die hards like myself, Home is a must have for your CS collection. This is the best live album I've heard in a long time. I love how they incorporated the symphony into their songs, it really added to their depth as artists. The additional song Burn, ROCKS!! I love this song, it really kicks, the vocals and riffs are awesome! Keep it up Collective Soul!!!!

Since I didn't have any Cd's by CS, I was looking for a greatest hits CD.Their greatest hits CD was a few years old and came before Youth which had several songs including Better Now which is my favorite song of the year.Home came out at the perfect time.I wasn't sure how CS would sound live but bought it anyways and it just blew me away.The combination of CSand the Symphony Orchestra was fantastic.I got goose bumps when I heard Better Now with the crowd singing along.I liked the CD so much I bought the DVD so I can really crank it up on my home theater system.

I was a little disappointed about this disk. I am a CS fan, but the tempo on the songs are off. It is as if they intentionally slowed everything down for the orchestra. Some of their great songs now feel like ballads instead of rock because it just does not have any drive behind it.The music is tight and the recording is acceptable for a live recording session.If you are a fan, you will enjoy the music, just do not expect too much out of this one.

I love Collective Soul so of course I'm going to rate this high however I really love the way they do their songs with, get this, a high school orchestra!!! You wouldn't know it's high school students though, sounds great, all very talented!!! The DVD is just as much fun to watch as this CD is to listen to!!!

This is my second CD of the same. My first one wore out. The music is fantastic and the children's orchestra is the best ever/

The disc works perfectly and sounds great with next day delivery!

First thing to think about when listening to this is that these are just kids in this orchestra! I've already been able to get my own kids hooked onto this. The best tracks for me are "Compliment", "Needs", "Heavy", & "Better Now". I recomend this strongly no matter what type of music fan you may be.

I am also a big fan of this band. Listening almost every day. Reccom for relaxing.

Über die Unbekanntheit von CS ist in anderen Rezensionen schon genug geschrieben worden, deshalb beschränke ich mich auf das Wesentliche: Eine hervorragende Live-Zusammenstellung ihrer bis dato größten Hits, zusammen mit dem Atlanta Youth Orchestra. Passt wie die Faust aufs Auge: Schon bei den Studioaufnahmen hat sich gezeigt, dass viele Songs wie Needs oder Run erst durch die Streicher zu dem werden, was es sind: Wunderbare Pop- und Rocksongs, die vor Melodiösität nur so strotzen. Selbst die krachenden Rocker haben einen zuckerweichen Refrain und live kommt das alles noch viel besser rüber. Grandios.

I have liked Collective Soul from day one but after seeing the Home DVD, I absolutely love them! Their great music combined with the Atlanta Youth Symphony Orchestra is amazing. The music reaches down to your soul. I find it hard to listen to the original recordings because they just don't have the umph. I bought the CD too so I can listen to it in my car.The DVD is a great concert to put on the TV during a party. The audio + visual is a real crowd pleaser.

The CD skips a few songs. I kept the pkg.... too much time has lapsed to send it back.
