Blanked showed up with stitching already coming out. I was hoping that with all other reviews being great and paying the fairly high price of $70 that this would be an all-star blanked! I guess not :(

Did not like this blanket- cost more than I think it is worth. Plus one of the snaps on the hood attachment was broke and therefore would not attach to the blanket.Like the color but material was too thin and it cost more than I think it was worth.Sent it back and would not recommend

The zipper used to close up the pouch once folded up broke within the first few days of very minimal use. Several manufacturing defects, including the hoodie snaps being on THE WRONG SIDE so that when snapped onto the poncho the outside pattern ended up being on the inside (pattern on outside of poncho but inside of hoodie). Also the way that the hoodie snaps onto the poncho is that the hoodie snaps inside of the poncho, so if it's raining water goes straight down your back. Severely poor design... ended up losing it on my travels the first 3 days, so good riddance. The blanket was very nice, but the hoodie/poncho function is crap and just hype. Should have written the company about defects but didn't have time before my travels... don't believe all the hype. It's just hype.

I really want to give this a great rating because I love the idea and as a blanket it feels great. Be wary of the quality, though! I didn't actually realize it could be turned into a pillow until a week after I got it, and when I turned it into a pillow (which you do by stuffing the blanket into the pocket, by the way), I realized there was a large hole where the seam was not sewn properly at a corner of the pillow (so a hole on the inside of the pocket). It still functions as a blanket, so I gave it two stars, but the quality disappointed me. If there is some way this can be corrected, I would happily up the rating, but I am disappointed with the hassle this has caused.EDIT: The Customer Service team responded pretty quickly, and they have sent me a new blanket (and let me keep the one with the hole). I've upped the review to 4 stars. Hopefully the new blanket has no problems. :)

This is ok... just ok. The material is awesome, the print nice and the idea is inspired but the execution is poor at best. Forget this being even remotely a functional poncho, the snap together hood is ridiculous and could have been fantastic with just a tiny bit more effort and thought. As it stands, if it rains and you have one of these, just hold it over your head, dont bother trying to sort out the hooded poncho. Its a nice picnic blanket... for $80.00.

Blanket is ok. Very soft but the snaps are cheaply done. Within 30 minutes of checking it out and trying to set it up as a poncho, one of the snaps just pulled right through. Looks like it wasn't crimped properly. Luckily I have replacement snaps so I'll redo it. Easier then going through the hassle of shipping it back. I won't be buying another one either. If you get one be careful of the snaps.

I bought one of these blankets a year ago and the quality of construction was excellent. I agree with other reviews that the hood is almost useless, but as a light blanket and travel pillow it worked out great for me. Recently I purchased a second one as a gift and at first suspected that it might be a knockoff because the zipper was sewn in backwards, seams unraveling, and the pillow function which is one of the most useful functions of the blanket, was missing. Because the difference in quality was so extreme, I contacted the company and sent them photos of both blankets. They told me to give away or keep the defective blanket and that a replacement would be arriving in a few days. By calling them I learned that the woven blankets are soft and made from cotton. The printed blankets are nylon and while attractive, feel slippery and unappealing. Unfortunately the product description does not point out this difference. My product rating is a mixed 1-4 stars. 4 stars for my original purchase, and one star for the most recent. 4 stars for a perfect replacement blanket.Customer service gets five stars. They reached out quickly, listened to my concerns, then tried to make my customer experience a positive one.I hope this company can achieve a higher standard of quality control because it is stunning to see how poorly made my second purchase is compared to the first.

The blanket is soft and warm, and the quality is great. I had the best use of it on my trip to Hawaii. It went with me everywhere! Great for the beach, stayed clean after getting wet and tons of sand on it. The pocket was extremely handy! I used it as a pillow a lot during the drives and the airplane ride. I also got to use it as a poncho everytime it rained (and it rained a lot and heavy). One week long trip, and this blanket didn't stink or look gross when arriving home. I had this blanket for almost a year, and after this trip I had to share how much I love it, and I'm glad I had it with me (my friends were jealous!)
