Bummer
Nice product and made in the USA.Unfortunately I not able to install on my front deck. 2 ribs in the mounting area.I would buy again if I could install it.None of them will fit between the deck support ribs on my boat.

Easy to Install
I’m assuming this was easy to install because my hubby did it in just a few minutes. Then when he was done he even did a celebratory dance for us. He seems very happy with how it worked... but he never writes reviews.

Wow this thing is awesome! Can’t believe how good it turned out. I’ll never own a boat without a recessed pedal again. So much more comfortable and reduces tripping hazard on the front deck. Buy it now!

Clean look!!!
Great product!!! Nice powder coated finish... I would suggest making your own template it was way easier that way... template instructions are a bit unclear.... and I used my own hardware because the screws are cheap and strip easily. Other then that it turned out clean.

Had to cut and modify the tray as well as the deck on my boat to work comfortably where the cable wasn't bound up
Didn't work too well with my MinnKota Edge 55. There wasn't enough space for the trolling motor cable with the way it comes out of the foot pedal. Had to cut and modify the tray as well as the deck on my boat to work comfortably where the cable wasn't bound up. Once modified, it works great and very comfortable when on the water.

This is the best thing you could ever add to your boat. I've been bass fishing for 40 years and adverage about 11 hours fishing per trip. My back is in much better shape at the end of the day. It is easy to install and the quality is as good as the higher priced units.

The Rod Saver trolling motor pedal tray is a great product. It is made of thick aluminum material and is finished nicely. I’ve installed other similar products in other boats that were plastic, and although aluminum isn’t the strongest metal on the planet, I feel that the Rod Saver tray gave my aluminum casting deck some of its rigidity back (after I cut a huge hole where the product is placed). It also looks significantly sharper than the plastic trays I’ve installed in the past. Also - MADE IN AMERICA!
