C-Gull Interchangeable Polka Dot Frame 3-in-1 Embossing Folder, 4.5 by 6.5-Inch

This is a great idea for making a quick card because it comes with 3 sentiments that are interchangeable. However, you must mark the inserts with F for front and B for back to avoid embossing the sentiment in reverse. You can also use it without the inserts to stamp your own special greeting in the center. You cannot use it as a straight embossing folder because you will always have the space in the middle. This item is a good basic folder to have on hand.

Does not work well. At least mine did not. I tried to make a card that said Happy Birthday but had to cut the words off and use them. The other part did not emboss evenly. I have a Cuddle Bug and my sis-in-love tried it on her Crossover Embosser. She had the same problem.

Is this meant to work with a Sizzix texture boutique? It's a great folder but will not work in the Sizzix the way other folders do. I had to take one of the black guides off and add extra cardboard to have it go through, but still did not make a great embossing impression. I love the design but wished it worked better.
