Absolutely loved the serum!!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I tried a few of the products from Victorialand Beauty. First, it’s based in Naples, Florida and like most small companies they have a wonderful story and giving foundation. I love supporting small businesses with a goal of going natural and giving back to the community. The items are beautifully packaged and the ingredients are wonderful. And big thank you for not having perfume smelling skincare!1. Face and neck skin cream - is a tad thick, I never much cared for sticking my fingers into jars so it would have been nice if this was in a pump or came with a little spatula like some of my other skincare products. Rich and luxurious with a hit of citrus scent, packed with butters and oils, especially meadow foam seed oil and rosehip seed oil, two of my f favors for skin care. I gave this 4 stars only because at this price point ($75 for 1.7 oz) it should have included a tiny spatula.2. Eyes and lips cream - the larger container is easier to use than it’s mini (again its a small jar). The lip and eye cream didn’t have any smell to it, just creamy. It goes on nicely to hydrate both under the eyes and the lips. Packed with a variety of seed oils, extracts and butters. I really liked this and the applicator was easy to use. A little goes a long way. Sells for $55 for .5 oz. Gave this 5 stars, really liked the feel of the cream.3. Skin elixir serum - by far of all the products this was my favorite. Love, love the feel of this serum and the scent was wonderful floral and really smelled the rose but not overpowering. What a luxurious feel on the skin. It sells for $80 for 1 oz and worth it. The applicator is easy to use, just give it a press at the top of the container and pull out the dropper. Only a few drops is needed, a little goes a long way. I definitely gave that 5 +++ stars.4. The mini travel set has cream for face and neck (about 1/3 the size of the standard container), cream for eyes and lips (about 1/2 the size of the standard container), and skin elixir (about 1/3 the size of the standard container. The good thing about having the mini sizes is that they can be refilled with the same products. This set sells for $55 and a great way to test them out before making the investment in the standard sizes. I have this 5 stars since I absolutely loved the ingredients, no perfume scent and the luxurious feel of each of these products in a mini size for traveling.

LOVE! Skin-loving indeed. Fungal acne sufferers, avoid.
A lot of oils I've tried feel dry, like they're just sitting on the surface of my skin instead of absorbing. This one, however, absorbs gorgeously! It gives my skin an amazing glow and my moisturizer, and makeup layers nicely over it (especially my cushion foundations). Also, I'm especially loving this oil right now during winter, and I haven't had dry or patchy skin once.Despite the product claiming to be good for all skin types, I do advise that those with oily skin may not be a fan of this product during the day if you prefer matte skin. I'm a big fan of Korean skincare routines and makeup, so I'm not afraid of looking like a glazed donut which may not be ideal for those who stick to more western skin/makeup trends. In addition, I don't think this oil may be suitable for those who are suffering from fungal acne at the moment (those little bumps on your forehead that don't pop) as some of the top ingredients may trigger it even more.Overall, I really love how this oil moisturizes my skin and gives it this "glowing from within" look, like I don't forget drink a couple liters of water everyday. I wouldn't say that it firms my skin per se, but I love how it smooths and improves my skin tone. It really does help to give you confidence to "Go Naked".

Sits on Skin
The very first facial oil I ever purchased was Olivella brand at the Vermont Country Store. I'm pretty sure it's nothing but 100% refined olive oil and, honestly, in terms of fragrance and texture, it didn't seem too much different than the food grade oil you find at the grocery store. It turned me off to using oil on my face for years. About a year ago, I discovered Elemis brand facial oil which was an entirely different animal. It's ultra-lightweight, absorbs instantly and smells incredible. That experience was the impetus for my trying this VictoriaLandBeauty Skin-Loving Elixir Facial Oil.This is a semi-pricey brand that I'd never heard of before, but it appears to have a large and loyal following so my expectations were high. Unfortunately, it reminds me very much of my experience with Olivella. This is very thick, occlusive oil that sits heavily on the skin. It apparently has no added fragrance and so the smell is flat and "food" like, if that makes sense. Honestly, it kind of reminds me of vegetable oil.Despite not particularly enjoying the experience of using this, it does a pretty good job of sealing in moisture. If I layer it over my toner (and under the VictoriaLandBeauty Nourishing Face and Neck Cream), my skin feels plump and dewy in the morning. Overall, I'm a bit conflicted about this product. A huge part of my feeling about skincare products has to do with the sensual enjoyment of them, which this doesn't really have going for it. But then again, it's difficult to argue with the results.

Body and hair friendly. Smart product saving wand. Very high quality.
I love this oil. It has a very neutral fragrance that should suit any gender and my face is all too delighted to soak it up. My skin looks instantly younger. While I wouldn't have chosen a frosted bottle for an oil (they look a little cheap when they get oil on them), the wand dispenser is very smart. The only other place I've run across high quality wands like this is on fancy French varieties from the companies you see represented at nicer department stores. One dose is all it takes. I like to rub what is leftover on my hands on my elbows first (I do this with all face products and lotions - my elbows look great) and then the excess goes to my hair, which is curly and prone to frizz a bit in the humidity. My hair loves it too. It's very fine and light in trace amounts. I love it.
