Having suffered from insomnia my entire life, and taken a number of the prescription meds available to treat this condition, a Dr recommended I try melatonin. After trying a few melatonin blend products I came across SleepMD. I have found that this product works very well in allowing me to get to sleep faster. It does not prevent me from waking up during the night, but melatonin is not meant to prevent that. And, even if I do wake up some nights, it's made up for in how quickly I fall asleep and the lack of next morning grogginess. I would strongly recommend this product to others struggling with insomnia, who want a natural, non prescription option.

I read some reviews about SleepMD here, and the reviewer is mentioning a Benzo and SleepMD in the same review. I can't imagine! Sleep MD isn't in the same class as a Benzo. The Valerian in SleepMD attaches to the GABA receptors, but that's as close as it gets. SleepMD is all natural. My sleeper has been broke for many years, and this product works for me, with no nightmares that some also have mentioned. I don't get hung over from it in the morning either. But, I won't take this or anything else for sleep more than once in a while, when in a pinch, really needing a good nights sleep to be sharp the next day. I discovered that when I take something for sleep, I'm actually borrowing sleep from my future, which will need to be paid back by a bad night's sleep the NEXT night! Use sparingly.

as someone that has been dealing with insomnia for years, I can suggest that where SAFE and possible, try *everything*.Everyone is different and being that there are many positive reviews here, obviously SleepMD has helped some people to get the rest they need. I am adding my result to the mix so people can have a better idea of how many people feel helped or not by this product.While this product did not help me sleep I did not feel any negative side effects either like being groggy the next day or otherwise.Hope this works for you.

I swear by this product. You are looking for a pill to help you fall asleep, this does it. You are looking to be able to awaken from that sleep and not feel as if you have been drugged, it does that too. You are wondering in the back of your mind if you will be able to sleep when you stop taking it, and you absolutely will. This is everything you could possible need in a sleeping pill and it will get the job done hands down.I went through a very messy divorce that left me sleeping in a hotel room for a few nights as well as at a friends house. I work a very high demand and high risk job as a pilot. This pill helped me relax enough to get to sleep as I got through that rough time in my life and the rest helped me keep my job and my safety out of jeopardy. Its a little more expensive for a reason, because it works. If you want a relaxing, non habit-forming, good sleep, then this is what you need.

I'm going to keep trying but this didn't really do much for me. I can easily fall asleep, but if I wake up during the night, I have trouble going back to sleep. I found Benadryl and Tylenol PM work much better.

Some people write negative reviews that may discourage others from trying this product. Just because it didn't work for them doesn't mean a thing. Everyone is different, and the only way you will know is to try it for yourself. I have up to this point tried 5 other products before this one including melatonin by itself none of them worked but this product has worked for me since the first day I tried it and I have been using it for about 15 days now with success. I work nights and I am sleeping longer and getting better sleep with no side effects unlike simply sleep which is (benydrill)in case you didn't know. Im happy I found it and I am convinced that it is not the sugar pill affect because it didn't happen with the other products, I even told my wife it probably wont work and that I was wasting my since the others did'nt work. Its good to be wrong sometimes I guess and this product has won my support because of it.Even with the negativety it still worked!

My Doctor prescribed Sleep. MD to put me to sleep. My sleeping kept me a sleep but sleep MD puts me to sleep.
