I have this in my freezer and seems to work well.

I have a small fridge and lots of leftovers and I just hate the smell of different food mixing when I open the door. I've used baking soda for years and while it works it seems that I constantly have to change the box. It was fine when I could find the baking soda boxes made specifically for odor elimination, because I could just shake the box and get a few more weeks of use. Unfortunately my Wal-Mart hasn't carried them for a while and I'm tired of wasting money on baking soda or forgetting to buy a new one and dealing with the smells. So I bought the Food Fresh after hearing that they last longer than baking soda. My baking soda usually takes a few days to eliminate the smells so I was surprised when I came back a few hours later and opened my fridge and it didn't smell. I was blown away so I've just ordered a few more to try around the house like by the cat box and diaper pail.

I chose this product because of its neat and clean appearance. What a surprise! Be Prepared! Once you remove the product from the plastic shrink wrap, your hands will have black charcoal over them, which will quickly transfer to anything you touch. In no time, you will have black charcoal powder everywhere. I immediately threw mine in the trash along with the unopened product. I have ordered many products from Amazon over the years, 98 in just the past 12 months, and this is the first product I deemed worthy of a review Home Air Care Food Fresh Odor Neutralizer for Refrigerator and Freezer . Works as advertised. I am very satisfied.

This thing is great! Within a day of putting this into my fridge I noticed a definite change in the amount of odor, or rather the lack thereof. I even made jello and it didn't taste like the old chinese food sitting right below it. This is a big step up from baking soda for sure.

These food odor neutralizes work great in my refrigerator. They last a long time too. Love them!
