Excellent bulb
I can assure you my tortoise is very happy indeed with this bulb! She has her red bulb for heat and this one apparently helps with absorption of calcium. She enjoys sitting under this one and is happy, feeding well and active. It has lasted well so far. Not sure of it's duration but very happy with my purchase.

I bought this for mushrooms, to make vitamin D. Im assuming its good, it switches on and looks the part

Mixed feelings
I think it did a great job and the price was good too but the bulb just died after only 4 months. Very disappointed. Now I can order a new one (from somewhere else)

Gone 'pop' after 6 weeks
This is the second one of these I have used. The first lasted for over a year. The latest one failed after 6 weeks. Not sure if I have any grounds for a replacement.
