ESS Sunglasses Rollbar USA Flag Black with Polarized Mirror Gray Lens Sunglasses

I was interested in these glasses because I have been wearing ESS for years. While in the military, I gained a huge respect for ballistic eye wear. I always wore sunglasses, but when I saw what basic sunglasses can allow through, I decided to make the switch. I wore ESS through multiple deployments, and never had a single problem with them. Now, as a police office, I continue to wear these because of the protective properties. These glasses are a very simple design that still provides a fair amount of protection. The frame is a typical polymer with a section that slides off to easily change out the lenses. Additionally, the frame seals around the eye well, which prevents wind and debris from getting to the eye. The lenses are polarized, and the clarity is amazing. My only complaint, which is extremely minor, is that the lenses occasionally fog up a little if you go from hot to cold. I have found that tilting them forward a little helps with this problem. Overall, I am extremely happy with these glasses and will continue to do business with ESS in the future. I would recommend these glasses to anyone looking for a dependable pair of sunglasses for work, motorcycle riding, leisure, or shooting.Update:I was recently working a crash on the interstate. When I got out of the car I dropped my sunglasses out of the door pocket without realizing it. As I was walking back to my vehicle, I watched a pick-up run over the case. Although they were destroyed, I was amazed at how well the lenses held up. Very minor damage even after that load when over them. This is just a testament to how well the lenses will protect you.
