Eagle Pack Power Natural Dry Dog Food, Chicken & Pork, 40-Pound Bag

One of my priorities as a dog owner is to feed my dog well without breaking the bank. Because dog food ingredients can be difficult to judge, I did a lot of research online to find out which ingredients should be avoided. My favorite resource for deciding if a dog food is safe and meets my dog's needs is Dog Food Advisor. I first learned about Eagle Pack Power online and was impressed by both the ingredient list and the price. There aren't that many dry dog foods that earn Dog Food Advisor's 5 star rating, but this one does.My dog is a 60 pound mixed breed, probably hound and shepherd, maybe some lab. She is pretty active, but doesn't have a high drive. She isn't a hard working dog, although she does run a 5K with me three or four times a week. She's almost two years old and, as the vet said, "all muscle." I was worried that this variety of food might make her gain weight, but she is as lean and healthy as ever. Her skin and coat look great, she doesn't have gas, and she doesn't smell like dog. She's been on this food for a couple of months (with some other high quality foods mixed in from time to time). The other day I realized she hasn't thrown up since I started giving her this food -- she used to randomly vomit, maybe once every three or four weeks, for no reason I could determine, even though the bulk of her diet was on another high quality grain free food.This food contains no corn or grains, no sugar, no artificial colors, no artificial preservatives. The source of meat is clearly listed and it contains probiotics. My dog is happy and thriving on this food and loves the taste. She eats all of it whether I mix in some canned food or not.

It has been six months from when I first bought it. I quickly saw changes in my dog. She has more energy and muscle tone. Her fur looks very healthy. At first, I was worried about the food arriving with moles or insects, because from other dog foods reviews that was an issue. That was not an issue with this dog food. Since the first time I got it, not once has it come contaminated. I have bought 4 bags of the Power adult dog food, and all of them came in excellent conditions. I recently bought 2 bags and both are in excellent conditions. 2 bags of the Power adult dog food last me 3 months, I have a 90 lbs (Great Pyrenees mix) and my brother has a 10 lbs (Chihuahua mix) dog. We feed these two dogs the same food.I researched many high quality dog foods (using Dog Food Advisor) but they are too expensive, this is the only dog food I found that has a great price for the amount of dog food given.

My three dogs love it, but they’ll basically eat anything I put in front of them. This is, according to Dog Food Advisor, a high quality food that’s actually affordable. My only gripe is the delivery -an Amazon driver brought the first two 40 lb bags to the door, but then it started coming by USPS who won’t come up my driveway so I had to pick it up at the PO. I have bad back problems and can’t handle lifting it so sadly I doubt I’ll be able to keep ordering it here.

I've raised several Siberian Huskies on this food and it is well tolerated and they always have liked it (never anything but empty dishes). They NEVER turn their nose up. It's made with high quality ingredients, and this power formula is what huskies need: high protein and fat, low carbohydrates. I saw and tried Eukanuba's 30/20 performance formula (since it has a tad more fat), but switched right back to Eagle Pack Power after I studied the ingredients more carefully. You can't go wrong with this dog food if you have a northern dog like a Siberian or one that needs densely nutritious food.

My dogs love this food. Whenever I get anywhere close to it, they get very excited. One of my dogs is a really picky eater and definitely does not eat certain foods, but she surely loves Eagle Pack Power. It's for a very good price for the quality you are receiving. When it comes to my dog's food, I try to look for the best of the best. Dog food advisor gives Eagle Power Pack a 5-Star rating. This is definitely the best priced 5-star dog food I have found yet. Do not hesitate, and buy this food to try it out yourself.

I'm not one to normally review products but I feel like I should this time. I had tried so many different foods/supplements/products to put weight on my overly thin lab Dane mix. I was feeding sometimes up to 8 cups a food a day (however much he wanted) and supplementing with brown rice/chicken/turkey. He is 70 lbs. I still could not put weight on him. After working with my vet, she recommended this dog food and I couldn't be more happy with the results. He has finally filled out and I don't have to feed him nearly as much. He loves the taste too. Thank you thank you thank for making such a good product!!!!!!

i’ve done a lot of research on dry dog foods and this one came out on top in terms of healthy/affordableour dogs love it and we haven’t had any issuesmy only complaint is sometimes the bag is delivered in a giant box that’s way too big and hard to carry..

One of my dogs loves it, the other hates it. However, I think that it is a quality food and my dogs don't seem to have as much gas when they are on it. I used to use another version of eagle and I wanted to switch it up a bit for variety, but it doesn't taste that much different to the dogs, or at least that's what I'm assuming because they usually inhale a new dog food but could care less about this one when it came. It is a bit darker and smaller than the previous cheaper Eagle food I was using.

I have tried several different foods with glucosamine in them for my pug cross, who has joint issues, per my vet. This is the first one she would actually eat! After being on it for a month she has been much more active, running around like a puppy again and not flinching every time she stands up. I am having to switch her to the low calorie version now, as she likes it a little too much. ;-). Definitely recommend this brand of dog food! Delivery is fast and right to my door; also a huge plus.
