Eagle Pack Natural Wet Canned Dog Food, Chicken, 13.2-Ounce Can (Pack Of 12)

My doggies really like this food. It smells meaty and you can see all the veggies it has. It mixes easily into dry food. I love the fact that it's a natural food and doesn't contain any by-products. It smells better than the food I had been using and through Amazon, it costs about the same. I hadn't heard of this brand before and I read the reviews of other brands before selecting this one. Eagle is within my budget and it's obviously produced by a smaller company that has high quality standards. There are no strange looking chunks of unidentifiable stuff in the food. It's finely ground but the veggies are still obvious. I add omega 3 to my dogs diet and I'm not sure whether or not Eagle includes any omega 3 oil in its recipe. If not, then it should. I'm convinced my dogs live longer, healthier lives with the addition of fish oil. Dogs cannot digest any omega fatty acids that aren't omega 3s. You can get fish oil from the drugstore with various levels of omega 3s. My dogs get 700mg in their evening food mixture in two capsules and they never notice or leave the capsules in the dish. It's my healthy trick. All in all, they like this food a lot, but are not finicky eaters. However, I'm convinced they would never eat something that did not appeal to them. I will stick with Eagle for the time being. Surely a natural food is better for them than the mass produced cheap stuff.

Our dog had a number of health issues which were addressed with the vet however she was overweight and sluggish. We started her on this food after trying many others and within a couple of weeks we had our puppy back. She lost weight (we cut back on snack food), loved this one so much we could hide her pills in it every day (no more hamburger or cheese in an attempt to get her to eat her pills) and we could even use it as a treat instead of high calorie unhealthy options. Sounds crazy but it worked/works. She wasn't as fond of the hard food as she has lost teeth and has difficulty with the hard food however the first time we gave it to her, she chowed it down. Her favorite flavor is lamb. Give it a try - we used all kinds of expensive options and found this worked the best!!

My dogs really like this food. They also like the lamb formula. Although they are not picky and would probably eat almost any canned food I served them, I feel good about giving them a brand with so many great ingredients. I mix a can of this food with kibble and they gobble it down. I seriously doubt they would turn up their noses at any canned food, but it's up to me, as their owner and fellow creature, to provide them with the best food I can afford. I was appalled to learn what the ingredients were in the food I was formerly feeding them and happy to discover that I could feed them better for about the same price. Although some reviewers claim that their dogs turned their noses up at the Eagle Pack chicken formula, my dogs had no such problem. I have repurchased this food numerous times and will continue to buy it. I feel good giving my dogs better nutrition and wish I'd looked into the ingredients of their old food sooner. Oh well, live and learn. I highly recommend this dog food.

My dog LOVES lamb. I mix this with Taste of the Wild- Wild Fowl. He's never had any tummy upsets or vomiting or smelly farts or poops. He's all smiles and gets overly excited to eat. The can is full-sized and opens just like any can. I would prefer a packaging that was releasable, maybe plastic or in a pouch, even, since I don't give him a full can at once. The feeding directions indicate to replace 1/3 cup of dry food with 6 ounces of the canned food for a 40-50 lb dog. You can clearly see the chunks of carrot, though the rest of the mix is rather gelatinous and finely milled.

When we first got our dog, my boyfriend (who is in medical school) did hours of research on top wet dog foods. His goal was to get the healthiest food he could without breaking the bank. This is what he found!Eagle Pack wet food is the only thing we've fed our dog since we got him over a year ago. Every shipment arrives intact, on time, and our dog loves it. We get a lot of compliments on how healthy our dog looks and how shiny and soft his fur is. I'm sure this food helps out with that!We are very happy with this food and plan on continuing to feed it to our dog indefinitely.

Our pug was diagnosed with early stage kidney disease, so we switched him from a high protein dry food to Eagle Pack canned food. He LOVES it. His kidney values are back to normal too! The downside, the delivery packages are heavy and the cans ALMOST ALWAYS ARRIVE DENTED. I don't mind, but it can get annoying trying to open a dented can.

This is kinda funny... the food itself is dry so I didn't like that. If your dog needs some moisture, don't order this food. However, my Dog DOES eat it and seem to think it's fine so should I really give it the maximum stars! haha! I see lots of carrots in the can so if your pup can't eat those, avoid this brand.

I have a large dog so I have searched and searched for food without peas (dogs are dying of DCM from eating peas). In the pictures on-line all of this line is pea free. Unfortunately, when I got the box of the Turkey version it does have peas. As of now the Lamb does not. Sadly, my dogs prefer the Turkey to the Lamb.

Excellent dog food and reasonably priced. My Golden [sensitive stomach] really enjoys this food mixed with his dry food. He can be very stubborn when it comes to food, but took to this immediately. The chicken based natural ingredients are appreciated.

My seven year old cockapoo enjoys this natural lamb canned food.. She is a picky eater at best, but accepts this food quite happily. It's only second place to cat food, which is her very favorite !!
