Remote would not sync from following the directions, so I learned by trial and error, how to sync:1. Plug in the power supply, and immediately push and hold the lowest Mode and Dimming buttons together.2. Hold until the white button on the power supply flashes green 3 times, then release.3. Test remote function.

Perfect aesthetic lights for a music room in the basement and more importantly great experience with the seller.I initially thought the remote didn't sync with the lights when it arrived - the lights worked (lit up) and I followed the instructions to sync the remote, but the controller wouldn't sync no matter how many times I followed the instructions. I still was able to cycle through the modes with the button on the assembly, but decided to contact the seller.They were quick with communication and sent a replacement.It was with the replacement that I figured out that I had the polarity reversed (plug upside down) on the first string...I flipped it and synced the remote in no time.So basically if you have trouble syncing try flipping the plug and the remote should work perfectly.

Test remote function.I ALSO LEARNED THAT IF THE ABOVE DOESN'T WORK, REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE WALL AND ROTATE IT and replug which changes polarity. THEN DO ABOVE 3 steps. THE REMOTE ***will*** work.

You’re here for instructions most likely. 1-plug in lights2-IMMEDIATELY press the appropriate mode and dimmer button3- a few green flashes on the plug will signal that your efforts have paid off.4-enjoy the many modes and settings!I finally found a use for this string of lights, well over a year after purchasing. I remember immediately plugging them in, and impressed by the lights, but I never got around to synchronizing the remote. After 2 nights of fiddling with trying to sync, I knew that I had to be doing something wrong (I just replaced the battery). The instructions on the plug are wrong. Go check out D. Landon’s review and give him a “helpful” button tap!

Beautiful lights and I love them. The seller was delightful. We had an issue with the right box and wrong lights even though the seller didn't have to, they were quick to offer to correct the issue and were very nice to work with. I can say that the warm yellow and the blue both are beautiful. The wire is a good weight and it was easy to work with. We wove the strand in with a small fishing net and decorated with shells and beach items as a gift and for a friend and they absolutely loved it. Such a good quality product.

Had some trouble with the remote as the instructions are not very clear. When it says “in 15 seconds”, that is 15 seconds from plugging the light in you have to press the buttons on the remote to pair. Got it working now and the lights are pretty nice

Remote doesn't work nor does the button so they cycle through movement modes. Distraction to sleeping which was the point...using it as a night light for my kids. Taking them down and may find a use someday; ordering steady simple plug in ones so a waste of my money.

We bought a mini tree and use these lights to decorate it. Then used the tree as this year's Christmas card - huge success!The lights are bright and the cord is long. I do wish that the lights were a bit denser (more lights closer together) cause we heard to wrap the tree many a time to get the right effect. Ah well.
