The Gimbal works on the fact that the camera or phone inserted is balanced properly so that the motors do not have to work very hard to keep the image stable. With this product and my go pro 4 silver I was not able to balance the unit properly as the plate does not slide completely into the unit allowing it to balance properly. this will wear out your motors on your gimbal faster.

Takes a little getting used to it, but works good...and since my drone uses a Gopro, it allows me to transition from the drone to the this, and you get the exact same quality footage. Great if you need to film indoors, and give the appearance you're flying your drone inside a structure. Only downside is it takes a few minutes to put on, but that's ok, it's held on solid and no risk of it falling. Great buy.

What a great idea that will save me like $300 so I don't have to order a GoPro stabilizer. The quality of build on this product is very sturdy. However if you still use this in the forward facing position the GoPro still catches the knuckle of the motor. So just a fun trick, mount if backwards like in the selfie position and use the stabilizer that way same awesome quality and then you can use super wide, and wide modes.

not sure if i missed it on the description but this item does not work:The image on the Gopro shows a side of the gimbal; this means ou have to flip the adapter and shoot as if it was "selfie mode" which makes using the DJI Omso mobile buttons not as easy.It's a waste of money.

This is a great gimbal adapter for my SJ4000 action cámera, veri good quality and well made, if you have a gimbal and an action cámera like gopro or other brand, I recomend you buy one of this adapters.

The quality of the product is nice. However, the functionality is not good. Two reasons why I gave this a two star ("I don't like it") rating:1. The clamp that holds the gopro is too close to the lens and as such does not leave room to fit an official gopro lens on top of the camera's lens (which I believe to be absolutely necessary since you cannot use this with a waterproof housing)2. The GoPro camera is too close to the center and so in SuperView, Wideview, and even Medium settings, you can see the gimbal motor in the shot. Technically you can have the camera face you in "selfie mode" so you dont get the gimbal motor in the shot but this defeats the purpose of the DJI Osmo Mobile controls since you would have to hold it backwards and the motions are not as natural.

This works amazing with my hero 4 silver and osmo mobile. Takes a bit of work to get it balanced. Once you get it balanced it's amazing. I turned around the osmo to allow the "wide" view of the go pro without picking the osmo motors in the shot.

great product but rem u can only shoot in 1080p med view for obvious reasons
