UPDATED REVIEW: the return window has closed and I still have not received the replacement for the non-working light, or a partial refund; I did receive an email that they were out of stock and I was to WAIT until they received more....I was NOT told how long I'd need to wait.I am so pleased with the amount of light these little bars put out! The tape on the back of them is the entire length of the light so they're very well attached. I wish they sensed movement a little further out but it's not a huge issue. I emailed the seller because the battery cover on one of the three won't latch, so I've asked for a replacement.

I only wish the lights would come on regardless of the existing lighting in the room. I was not told that the lights would not come one if there's light in the room already, even dim light. I need under counter lighting, but this would not work for me.

Of the several closet lights I have tried this is the first I have liked. Met expectations raised by their advertising.But he flap that covers the battery stack needs reengineering. Could not get it to snap closed on any of the 3 units I ordered. I then needed to secure with tape the flap in its down position. Seems to be working so it is a minor annoyance.

These lights are just perfect for my walk in closet. When I just need to reach for something on the shelf by the door, one of the three strips I installed comes on without having to turn on the ceiling light. I installed one under the shelf in thr back of the closet and another just above the shelving towards the back. They come on quickly and turn off after no movement in about 15 seconds. I've yet to experience short term battery drain others talked about in their reviews, but I purchased rechargeable batteries in case.I am thinking of installing three or four more underneath the upper kitchen cabinets. Great product for the price.

Bought these to illuminate dark stairs. Chewed through batteries like rats on NY style pizza.

I really do like the lights, but adhesive is not that good. It falls down after about a month. I have used different tape to keep it in place. I would buy these again if they change the adhesive on the magnet.

Does the job, but cheaply made. Very motion sensitive. The light is a bright, neon white which I find very disturbing - it's not warm at all and gives a spooky and unnatural feeling.

Installed these lights in our garage and also in my dresser. They didn't list very long. The one in the garage, which was barely used over the summer, had m/t batteries when needed at the beginning of the fall. the one in the dresser fell off the wall, even though the wall was cleaned before attaching it. Also here, very short battery life.I spent a little bit more money for units designed by Osram but sold under different brands and the sensors are much more sensitive and the battery lasts much longer.
