EBERTH 3 HP Petrol powered broom with chassis (2-stroke petrol engine, 60 cm all season brushes, incl. chassis)

Worst thing I’ve ever bought. Got it for brushing wet leaves and the driveshaft to the head broke in about 10 min. The cart itself you couldn’t push a toothbrush round on without it flexing and the handle twisting in the mounting bracket.

I have no axe to grind with the seller, they have no concept of any technical problems regarding this product. 'Made in China' is still synonymous with 'crap quality'. You get what you pay for basically. This is a mass produced product so they should all be 'clones'. Does anybody have the same problem I have? The 2 stroke engine does not fit onto the mounting plate as the tubular frame is in the way, the engine crankcase fouls on the frame and does not sit on the mounting plate. No point in sending it back as I would probably receive one with the same problem. Solution was to grind off the welds and re-weld the mounting plate onto the opposite side of the tubular frame. OK for me as I have the workshop facilities, the average Jo does not. Also I took the precaution of dismantling the drive diff (down at the brush end) to check geartrain lubrication, low and behold the gears had about as much grease as a 1970's quiff... Remains to be seen how long this will last but like I said, you get what you pay for. They don't build stuff like they used to. I have a Panasonic 'Easy Touch' microwave purchased in 1976, cost me a weeks wages back then but you know what? I still have it, still works and has never let me down....rant over.

had a small problem but the customers service second to none product very strong cant wait to use it this company really look after there customers would buy again

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star, embarrassing bit of kit! Fell apart luckily the accepted a return and refunded me.

Great little sweeper especially on the tarmac .
