So it does flicker well but it's an unusual orange color. It's very cheap plastic but it is durable enough to have as outside decor.THESE ARE NOT STATEMENT PIECES!Do not depend on these to tie in the room. These are just accents to add more to your decor. I don't think they are worth the price though. They shouldn't be so expensive for such cheap plastic.They will work perfectly for centerpieces, table decor and Halloween! They are light in weight and you can hang them easily too.. Don't let the pictures fool you, they aren't as big either.

The photo shows it being used outside that is why I bought them. Then it comes in and says not to be used for outdoor. And it’s made out of plastic, looks cheap.

The quality is ok, the size works for what I used it for, and I like the fact that it has a timer battery option. Haven't tried it it just put it up this weekend.

Adds a nice accent to our porch. Made of plastic so it will not rust in the weather.

One was fine, the other had a broken plastic lid/top cap so the glass wouldn't stay in. Kind of hard to believe that it happened in shipping. Box, although thin imported cardboard, was not damaged so must have broken during assembly. Used some hot glue and works fine. Never got a remote in the box. Would have been nice. wasn't worth the hassle to send them back.

First order was lost. Had a hard time getting a refund. Finally received a refund and second time around they came fairly quickly with regards to Covid. Works great, looks nice

Great little lantern. But don’t buy these to hang. The circle hanger is plastic and thin. It breaks easily.

Plastic not metal. I really wanted taller lanterns but too expensive!
