Great tool, for his is the second one I bought
This is my second one LXT right angle wrench. My first was this one is a LXT01 ( made in China model). I bought the first to get between a door frame and a stud to attach Simpson strong tie holddowns ( I screwed up while framing) it had no problem driving the 3/16 screws home. I used it to change tires and a clutch. Finally the hammer mechanism started to slip which I am going to fix. I beat the piss out of the wrench..it still works. I am buying this one because of 3/8 impact solely for car work

Use it as intended and you will be happy.
Buy an impact if you want an impact. This is not for breaking nuts and bolts loose. It's for working quickly in hard to reach areas. It's bigger than a ratchet but doesn't require movement of the tool. That's the whole point. It will break some nuts and bolts loose but I bust things loose with a ratchet then swap to this. Such as a Honda water pump. It zips the bolts out 100x faster than you can with a ratchet especially with only 20* of moment available with a ratchet. This isn't an every day tool. It has specific uses. If your spending $240 on a tool reading the specs should be something that you do. I purchased this tool right here on Amazon and I'm just not understanding these negative reviews. I own many Makita tools from the XWT07Z with 1250ft lbs break away torque to the XTD16Z to sanders and saws. This tool is every bit as good as the rest of the Makita line when used appropriately. Most people who buy this anf leave negative reviews buy it for the wrong reasons. The variable speed and relatively small head are my favorite two features of this tool.

Works great!
I was tired of always needing an air hose for my pneumatic ratchet. This 3/8" impact works just as well, and I now use it all the time.

Super useful.
Great product for those tight spaces or a bit out of reach. Battery life (using well abused batteries) is excellent. Seems to be very durable. The only drawback is it seems to have a little less oompf then the Milwaukee's I have used. This would not prevent me from purchasing again, if needed.

Hard to put socket on-off
Maybe mine sucks and is broken? The sockets do not go on over the stupid retainer clip. Bad design. Strange. Like the engineer took the day off and the janitor designed it.
