I was able to use this for 2 summers, and I loved it. Put it in its bag in the garage over the winter. Took it out 2 days ago, plugged it in, turned it on, and it burst immediately. At this point, I am thinking it might just be necessary to buy new hoses every year or two. I don't like it, but I still love using this hose much more than the old fashioned kind. Sure would be nice if they didn't burst, though.

While it worked it was nice. Lightweight, expanded as expected. Nozzle and fittings are actually good quality. But the hose itself did not even last a whole summer before springing a leak. Woke up this morning to find a river of water running across the driveway as the hose had burst a huge hole a few inches from where it was connected to the house - probably the area I would LEAST expect wear and tear.

This is narrower than my other expandable water hose (different brand). I use it about once a week and it seems to hold up.

Pressure is not as high as a normal rubber hose, but enough to wash a car. Note: although the hose will extend to about 20 feet (not 25 as stated) when you pressurize it, it shrinks down to about 15 feet when your using it (ie, holding down the sprayer nozzle trigger). So, order a hose about 10 feet longer than what you need. The really long hoses (75 or 100 feet) get tangled up.

I've only had this for a month and it already sprang a leak/has a hole. The green outside springy part did not protect the hose inside. I don't have any sharp objects or anything on the ground for this to happen. Pretty disappointed.

gets tied and knotted up so easy compared to an older one i had. love the nozzle on it tho. great shower feature on it and holds nice in the hand for extended watering.

Best hose EVER. No more bulky hoses! First, it is very well made and I expect it will last years. It is LIGHT and does not kink! It expands when water is running through it and returns to size when the water is turned off. No more bulky storage; you could easily store it a large pot. Love it.

Purchased in summer 2018, it's now summer 2020 and it burst yesterday.Hugely disappointed as vendor touted its high quality. Hose was well maintained and stored in a covered patio box which is stored in a covered patio.
