The World's Greatest Super Friends: Season 4

Super friends are the bomb!

Rating is for: Super Friends: World's Greatest Super Friends, The Complete Season 4. Amazon adds ratings to the wrong products so beware of that. Season 4 is fun! This has 8 episodes, each approximately 21minutes. I grew up with these and back then I loved them no matter what. I still like this season, although the episode with Frankenstein is quite silly. I like the longer episodes of the Super Friends, instead of the shorter 10minute ones because they can at least get in to the story a little more, even if it is not very original or exciting. There are only a few seasons of the Super Friends I don't want to see, mainly the First season, which had very simple animation and super simple and even sillier story lines.

Let me begin by saying this season was one of my favorite of the Super Friends. This disc has many of my favorite episodes on it. What I’m not too happy about is the DVD case I received from the shipper but I believe reviews should be based on the content of actual DVD. It had a 2 inch gash on the back of the case that went all the way through the plastic case. I thought about returning the unopened DVD back to Amazon but I really, really wanted to watch the “Universe of Evil” episode so my impatience over took my sensibility and desire to have an unblemished case. The DVD was not affected by the slash. But, I’m still a little pouty about the cover….

Super Friends. Need I say more? It's the classic DC lineup of Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman & Aquaman, Wonder Twins too. Especially "Lord of Middle Earth." If you want to see your favorite Heroes again in all these classic episodes, in this nice little package. It's worth the money. I enjoyed watching these episodes on my laptop...brought back so many memories. The "Universe of Evil" with Evil Superman in our world and Superman trapped in theirs. Wow. Great stuff.

A rather oddball, offbeat season of super friends with stories similar to Tolkien, magic lamp genie & wizard of Oz! This was difficult to find in stores. Not many features but enjoyable kids fare from 70s. The only season Batman is the headliner!

IM thrilled that i can finally complete my super friends dvd collection after all these yearswhat i dont understand is why on earth is Season 5 and Season 6 available before Season 4 ?? that is some pretty messed up logic does anyone know the reason whyother than that as a child growing up in the 80's im pretty chuffed !!

This is a television series from 40 years ago, so given its age, the animation and the stories in the series are clearly dated with its simplicity and wholesomeness. On the one hand, the series is safe for children to watch, but on the other hand, children might lose interest in the series if they are used to watching the more recent animated superhero stories of the 21st Century.

Why so few episodes and why a downgrade in quality? I had problems watching it on my DVD player and also on my computer ... it crashed alot. I was able to finally watch it all though. Why not put out 2 seasons together if they didn't have many episodes in this season.

memories, waking up early on Saturday mornings, lost in the super-hero universe with honor and respect.

If you can grab this for under $9 its great.
