All positive include a really useful booklet with all the setting barcodes in it - you simply scan a few barcodes from the book to set the gun up to work the way you want it too! I use it with an Access database and an excel spread sheet, if you are storing the scan on the gun for later download you simply open up your spreadsheet or table select the download barcode from the booklet and it simply "pastes" all the barcode you have stored in the selected field or column you have chosen from your program - its really cool just watching all the codes appear as if by magic in front of your eyes - I love it!

We purchased one to use with a Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 for stock control barcoding. When connected to the tablet via Bluetooth it acts as a wireless keyboard so the default on-screen keyboard will disappear while it's connected. If you need to use the on-screen keyboard at the same time as the barcode reader (as we do) you can get around it by downloading the free Google Keyboard for Android or iOS. It seems well made for the price and if it did get damaged then not expensive to replace. We will be buying again in the future.

Bought 8 of these to use in three warehouses, work spot on, with good range and battery life.Been chucked on the back of fork lift trucks etc. Works with all devices that have bluetooth, just need to select medium/slow input for iOS.

I searched Amazon for "QR Code Scanner" and this came up 3rd in the list. The pictures of the product show QR codes, so I bought it thinking it would do the job. When it turned up, even the manual states it scans QR codes, but it doesnt - apparently that's what 1D means. Returned with no issues - just frustrating that it was a bit misleading.

You have to scan the setup code to enter Bluetooth mode.
