Excellent quality, excellent value, excellent steel
The knife is USA made, screams of quality and comes with a forever warranty. The blade is s35vn steel; an excellent high-end steel with great edge retention, which also has good corrosion resistance, toughness and is relatively easy to sharpen. There are other much more trendy brands in this price range with s35vn steel (made overseas) but this Buck is impossible to beat IMHO. The action, handle and lock are better than anything you will find in this price range. Bought as a gift for my daughter, but comparing it to my Spyderco with cts-xhp steel made me envious, and I might have to get one of these for myself!This is a perfect EDC knife for those who need a 3 3/4" blade length and prefer a heavier-style knife. Comes with a well crafted leather sheath.

Good knife for the money
Nice knife which is what I expected from Buck. I like the mid-grip blade lock release, it can’t be closed except when you mean it to. Blade came sharp, but a little work it got even sharper and has been staying that way.
