This is a week made part that fits well and looks nice.Other reviews say it's too tight for a (Maryland) license plate; it is tight and it requires stretching to fit but its silicone (rubber) and is made to stretch. If it was made loose, it might fall off. No modification was needed.I'm very happy.

These are silicone and completely cover the back of the license plate, so there is no scratching your vehicle's paint. They are super easy to install, look great when you want a subtle look around your plate. I use the white one for my white vehicles (and white license plate), and black for my truck that is surround by black trim. They blend well this way and make the license plates not so prominent. I use them for all 3 of my vehicles.

In April I received my new Tesla model Y. I was looking for a minimal license plate holder for the back that would not damage paint or rattle over bumps, etc. This fit the bill perfectly and being made of silicone, eliminates vibration or noise. It's soft and so won’t damage anything. Very reasonable price and delivered quickly. Easy to install and I’m very pleased with the purchase.

Bought these for all my vehicles. I always throw away the dealer frames - I paid them for the car and will not advertise for them for free. These provide a great way to protect your vehicles paint against scratches from license plates and also may reduce noise caused by wind hitting the plate as you drive depending on how / where your plates are mounted.Make sure the drain holes are put on the bottom edge of the plates. Be careful when trying to get that last corner on - the plate can cut you. Its a bit challenging, but you can gently bend the plate to get the silicone frame on and then flatten it out again.The small edge of the frame (1/4 inch) does not cover any of the text on the plate of my state, but each state's plate is different so please look at your plates before ordering.. This frame should work in most cases.Another benefit - As you tighten the license plate mounting screws, the silicone compresses which provides constant pressure on the back of the screw heads thus helping the screws to not work loose over time from vibration as you drive.Available in many colors to closely match or contrast with your paint colors. The strong zip closable pouches they come in can be repurposed to put wet / smelly kitchen trash in and zipping them shut.

As other reviewers have said this nice silicone frame is slightly too small for my MD tags. I found a VERY EASY solution to fix this. I simply cut vertical and horizontal slits (pictured ) in the back of the silicone on the part that will never be visible again. This allowed the frame to stretch just enough for a perfect fit on my plate.Tip: Wear gloves when wrapping this around the sharp edges of your plate!Pros:Well made silicone frameThe full silicone backing significantly dampens rattle when shutting the trunk or driving.Looks greatSmall slits on bottom of the frame (pictured) are not a flaw as some reviewers say, they are purposely there to keep water from pooling inside.Cons:Slightly too small for my standard sized MD tags, but it was easy and free to modify. I imagine some plates are slightly smaller which means they don’t have a choice but to make them that size.

Size is a perfect fit. Takes a little effort to insert the sharp edges of the plate in the lip of the mount. That’s how it should be, otherwise the lip would become loose and flap. The lip width is just right, looks great. Best characteristic is the mount has full backing, protecting your car. Wish they also provided four screws.

I didn’t want to have the dealership’s frame around the tag. Found this thing and it works great. Tag doesn’t bounce around and it’s super minimalist- awesome. Btw, only using the 2 top screws, not all 4 and it works fine.

This adds protection for my SUV's finish, was easy to install, and looks far better than other frames. Delivery was quick too.

These frames were easy to install than I initially thought. Just be patient and use a flat tool to get the last sides and edges out, you should be fine. I think these will last well. Minimalist look. Downside, these are expensive. I thought these would come in 2 frames, comparing to the competition but no, nearly $30 CAD for one single frame.
