Fun game to play with a group a friends, cant wait for more of the expansion packs

If you are a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog and a fan of board games, then you can stop reading now and just pick up the game. You won't regret it. For you, this game is five stars and is for 2-5 players.For everyone else...you get a board game that does an excellent job of simulating a Sonic console racing game where you race across a track and deal with obstacles and "badniks", creatures that try to hurt you, while picking up rings and holding onto them until you can get to the finish line. If that isn't your cup of tea, you can pass this game by.Instead of dice, each player randomly draws cards to keep on hand and plays the best card they can when it is their turn to move. The card you play also determines when you take your turn each round relative to the cards everyone else plays, so you have the additional strategy of deciding whether you need to go first or later and try to anticipate what other players are going to do.The full track is not laid out at the start, as the lead player enters a turn the next set of tracks are laid out, so you can't plan out your full strategy at the beginning of the game. Being the first across the finish line does not automatically win you the game but it does give you a big advantage as the largest concentration of rings lies at the finish line.The miniatures for the game are pre-painted and look great for the board game. Each character has some unique rules that gives them some special advantages and make the game play differently depending on which character each player chooses. With all of the add-ons(not part of the basic game) available you can get quite a variety, although the rulebook doesn't cover some of the corner cases that can come up in play when using these add on characters which interact with the board in unique ways.In addition to a simple race between players, you can pick up add ons that are certain enemy bosses to complicate the race even further. These enemy bosses can also be used as a character for players to race.Customer service is very good, one of the figures was missing an arm and I got a replacement miniature shipped to me once I notified the company.

Cheap, the Sonic player came broken and the box was mauled. A huge disappointment for my son who saved the money for something that clearly is not worth it.
