Very well balanced and wears well sharpening industrial mower blades.
I have a small lawn business. I am sharpening 3 sets of 3 blades every 2 weeks. It's holding up well. Easy to dress and holds it's shape better while not creating very much dust. Excellent choice for sharpening steel blades. Balanced right out of the box and the shims work well as well.

I am using oneway balancer and the wheel needed very little work.

Excellent tool for removing metal
This wheel does an excellent job when sharpening heavy-duty mower blades. I used the included bushings to reduce the arbor hole from 1" to 5/8". No issues were found.

Lucky I had the guards on!
Bought two of these Forney grinding wheels off Amazon in December, as the price seemed good. Finally got around to replacing my ground-down DeWalt wheels here in July... after an hour replacement time, I turned on the grinder and the 60 grit Forney wheel literally exploded in the grinder. Seeing it's six months later I can't return through Amazon... liucky I still have my face in-tack. DON'T BUY THESE CRAP GRINDER WHEELS.

Works just fine-a cheap wheel for sure but for occasional use grinding tool bits for the lathe it is fine.

A damn fine wheel
This grinder wheel made me weap with joy. It was easy to install after taking my old one off with the bits in the middle to make it work with my bench grinder. I think I will compose a song and share it with the world to celebrate this wheel of legend

Unusable grinding wheel
I received this wheel with 2 areas where it was chipped and it doesn't even run true.. I am returning it and I better get a full refund or I will post it as well.. I waited so long to receive it, and then there was no tracking of the the package available.
