A conversation starter on my front porch!
This arrived carefully packaged. I was surprised at the size - larger than I expected. I planted per instructions and it has lots of leaves and looks great. Some leaves are dark green and some are more lime green and coral bark. I live in Houston so have it on my front porch so that it only gets partial sun. Enjoy watching it grow.

Damage product, disapproved purchase
I did not approve of this purchase when I first bought it asked for it to be canceled so that didn’t happen so when I got it the tree was damage it was cracked the top part of the tree was broken off.

Not 3-year plant, only 6" tall from dirt up
It's too small to be 3-year old plant, only 6" tall from the soil up, and it has a tape wrapped around the graft part. The trunk is a bit thicker than toothpick.Update: I changed the rating from one star to three star because it looks like a good specie. Over the winter the bark shows pretty red color better than other same trees I have.

Lovely Tree - Eventually Died
This Japanese Maple arrived healthy and has beautiful leaves and red twigs. The leaves turned a stunning red color in the fall.Edit: The tree looked very healthy for two years, from the fall of 2014 through the fall of 2016. The tree did not survive it's third winter, though. The entire tree died over this winter.
