These arrived quickly and are well packaged so they are not damaged by shipping. One thing I did not realize when I ordered them is that the finial is large. I expected them to be about an inch across. They are actually the size of a large Christmas ornament. They make the rod one that would probably be used in a very formal room. The finials break very easily, and they also separate from the rod and cannot be put back. . They do not screw into the rod. They are attached by a piece of clear plastic. I would not buy these again because of the way the finials are attached, how easily they break loose from the rod (and are unable to be put back together), and the fact that the finials are very easy to shatter.

I bought this in the smaller size and one in the larger size. Both arrived on time and look beautiful. The mercury glass is gorgeous and elegant. They can hold the weight of heavy curtains without the rod being particularly heavy on its own. BUT, the larger size rod came in 3 pieces and they don't seem to fit together. Luckily, I can fit two of the pieces together and it just barely fits my window. Be careful if you need the longest length available though, because it may not work.

The product itself was as good as I expected. My only problem was I had to return it twice because the glass globe was shattered. In other words it took longer to receive the product in a usable fashion. I received the shorter and longer rods. The longer one was better packed and did not require a return.

Purchased in brushed silver. These are absolutely gorgeous! I didn’t have any issue with the packaging and all pieces arrived intact.. the only issue I have is the wall anchors... for this price the wall anchors should not be crap.. I have purchased $10 Walmart curtains with better wall anchors than this. I ended up pulling them all out and using wall anchors I had previously purchased for another project. So save yourself the frustration of having to start over and purchase new wall anchors.

I purchased this curtain rod to hang over our 2 living room windows. The rod arrived on time and the directions it came with were extremely easy to follow. I was really happy it came with three brackets so it doesn't sag in the middle. I hung three long panels from it and it looks great. The only reason I gave the 'durability' 4 stars is because I only just put it up. Time will tell :-)

Pros: Great product well made!Cons: I bought two sizes. The larger size was packed great double boxed foam etc, however the smaller size no foam so the decorative bulb was broken. If this is corrected they get five stars easy.

The Mercury ball rods are very beautiful! The room I have them in is a bedroom. The finish on the rods is a satin finish. It is silver. The other accessories in the bedroom are mostly silver so it looks very classy in the bedroom. The finial which is the Mercury ball is not over large nor is it tiny so that it is not seen. This is a very elegant rod.

The curtain rod is exactly as pictured/described and of good quality. I only gave 4 stars because mine came without the hardware to hang it even though the description stated that it was included.
