Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I picked this bulb as I had ordered a new light shade for my living room, I usually buy up-lighters so there is no way to see the bulb itself but it's kinda become fashionable to have the bulb showing and with these vintage style bulbs it's just so much prettier to look at.LED bulbs are a little pricier to buy but they last a very long time and unlike the energy bulbs you get the full brightness instantly. Estimated to last a whopping 15,000 hours. My old energy bulbs lasted 8.5 years and I only changed to upgrade to LED so I'm not expecting to have to replace these for at least that time :-p

This bulb came well packaged and looks very good. It is deliberately dim (140 lumens only, roughly equal to 2w standard LED) and very warm. I ordered both this design (A19) and another from the Yunte brand (st64). This one was better than the other, in that it did not flicker noticeably, though a small effect could be picked up by smartphone camera (see image). The smoothing of the AC input by the circuit is more effective than the other, I assume it's a newer design.
