This is a very well told story of Ford's approach to recovery from the 2008 recession as well as the story of Ford's mid-60's Le Mans efforts and the 2016 Le Mans racing development program and ultimate victory in the 2016 Le Mans race.

I was at the 1964 Le Mans 24 Hours and know the story well. This book is not well written. Put it aside half way thru.

Good read
This book is a must for anyone interested in the great Ford - Ferrari battles at Le Mons. It is also a very good insight to how Ford came back from the brink after the great recession. Unfortunately these stories are well known so there are no big surprizes except in the details. Well written, with out the "car" attitude that turns off those who do not understand automobile racing. This book works for everyone, car enthusiast or not.

Lacks focus
Some chapters focused a bit too much on the auto industry after the financial crisis of 2008. The book got better at the end, when it covered the 24 hours of Le Mans. "Go Like Hell", about the 1966 Ferrari vs Ford rivalry was far more interesting, probably because it had a more compelling story to tell, with legendary characters like Enzo Ferrari, Carol Shelby, Ken Miles, Henry Ford II, etc.
