Slightly annoyed someone in the comments has put a one star and just assumed they aren’t waterproof having not been out in the rain? 😂 Having gone up to Scotland in the highlands in 100% rain for 10 hours, I can tell you these boots are waterproof. They do take a while to wear into, at first they didn’t feel that sturdy as they were new but I can assure you I have not slipped down a mountain yet so the grip is very good! They are also comfortable to wear for long hours. I had some karrimor boots before this and noticed they weren’t that comfortable for long periods of time but these ones are great!

I have always bought Berghaus walking boots since the first pair I got were far superior to any other mid range brand. Recently I had tried Merrells, same price bracket, but there was nothing I liked about them. They wore out extremely quickly(holes appeared in the crease where the toes bend), pressed on my wee toes and let water in disappointing immediately. Back to the tried and tested Berghaus, and all these problems are immediately solved, and no complaints. Comfortable, practical and as waterproof as expected for the very reasonable price for a quality product.

First time I have not ‘broken in’ new boots and they were perfect on a long and very muddy walk! Feel like old friends already and hope they stand up to the daily abuse I give them! In return I do give them a lot of t.l.c ! Only comment I have to make is I was surprised no care instructions - think I am doing all the right things ! Great boots extremely comfortable, feet always warm and most importantly dry!

Great fit comfortable but these boots are not leather. They are rubber.

Although the product is good the womens version is £50 more then only a week later it was reduced by about £25.So feeling short changed in that respect i will after be nore carefull with future purchases
