Essential purchase if you like Banksy
The book does a great job of documenting several pieces of Banksy's works to view at once with context. This also includes notes from Banksy themselves. Even after reading it, the book serves as an interesting artifact for guests to discover or spark conversation. I also find the works very inspiring so it helps out when I'm having an absolute empty slate of a mind on some days.I wish I had gotten the hardcover, it's probably worth the much higher price.

It's pretty much just a collection of Banksy's works with little captions and paragraphs to read here and there, but it's nice that it comes from the artists mouth instead of someone else's interpretation of his art.Banksy seems like an interesting person, and a glimpse of their personality definitely comes through in this. It's fairly old now, so there is a lot more recent things missing from the book that would of been interesting to hear from the artist about (dismaland for example) but it's still an enjoyable book to flick through. It won't take you very long to get through it.

Very enjoyable look at Banksy's work
This is a hugely enjoyable look at Banksy's work. In addition to a massive number of photographs of his creations there are some interesting background notes and comments from Banksy himself, giving some works a whole new meaning. Naturally some of this is used as a soapbox as you would expect from any creative or artistic type but does not distract from the quality of the content. There are so many Banksy works in this book I have never seen before which for me was the real delight in this book. One of the few books I've got that has been on almost permanent loan to friends as it is shared around, it really is that engaging and in places very, very funny. In summary this is all you could wish for in a book looking at Banksy's art. It will also easily convert anyone who thinks Banksy's art is "just graffiti".

Good reference for newbies
For hardened Banksy followers it will probably contain nothing new. If you just have a general interest it is quite a good book to look through. Available through Amazon at good prices. Make a good covid lockdown Xmas present!

Much thought-provoking
This is a good introductory book to enter into the world of one of the most famous contemporary art individual brands of the last decade. The book is mostly made of pictures of works completed on walls in public spaces, although some works are more intimate, like the interventions on iconic works of art. There is little text, but it is very illuminating non the less, and both provocative and thought-provoking. An excellent read to stimulate one's own consciousness of our world and our ability to think critically. Some pictures are commented in more detail than others, which might leave the reader desperate for the artist's explanation on a work which has no accompanying text with it.An excellent source for examples of applied and relevant creativity. This book should appeal to the widest audience, even readers who are not into contemporary art in the first place.

Excellent Book
This is an excellent, high quality book. I bought two copies, one as a gift for my daughter, and we are both delighted with it. The pictures are accompanied with notes and anecdotes by Banksy himself and these are all very interesting. This is a highly recommended book for anyone who appreciates Banksy and his work.
