As a homeschooling mom I needed a reliable drafting compass that this silbyloyoe math compass wasn’t going to make me fustrated. We use this drafting compass for math any now for art. Makes circles of any size perfect. I use child art pencils as they are short and help your fingers and wrist while completing the circle. The drafting compass for geometry it self is sturdy and well made. 3 to 4 steps above the ones you buy in the school accessories at any store. The last compass we owned was thrown away as it was plastic math compass and that compass math wouldn’t hold the width.

It works very well and I used it a lot in one of my courses. However, the frame of the compass was ever so slightly bent when I got it. It didn't hinder my ability to use it. The other issue was the graphite seemed to slip a little. The friction wasn't enough to hold it tight.

Draws perfect circles just as expected. Materials are metal, compass feels good in hand. Quite sturdy and does not wobble or shift mid-circle. Easy to adjust using the center dial. Came packed in a little clear 'zip' pouch, been using it to store the compass to protect it. Also came with extra pencil leads. Seller even included a small gift (mini metal carabiner). Very worthwhile for the price.

Looks good and well finished. Adjustment is too easy and can lose accuracy. No replacement leads.

Purchased two. Good thing too since one of the spare screws was not threaded. So much for quality assurance, lol. Although disappointing, overall for the price the quality seems within acceptable standards.

I teach the University Geometry and I have been searching for the best math compass to withstand students and time. These compass math seem to be it. I got one of geometry compass and have been testing the compass for geometry. Seems to lock into place well and comes with some spare screws and lead. So far, it is a great drafting compass. I'll be ordering more compass math for my class soon.

I don't like that I haven't gotten around to use it yet. But overall it's a great instrument. Solid metal, extra leads and screws and easy to use even though I haven't actually used it on a project yet. Just fumbling around with it. I would recommend to anyone in woodworking that likes to build birdhouses, feeders and stuff like that.

Amazing price ($3) for this metal compass. for this price, you usually get a cheap plastic one. Comes with extra lead and parts.
