A 1 pound quantity of the Midwest Mix will give you 500-1000 square feet of coverage, depending on how thickly you seed. if you're looking to cover a bigger project, like an acre, you'll be looking to use between 25 - 50 pounds, depending on the density you wish to achieve.

Q: Can I cut these off in the fall or spring or burn them off

After you see the growth beginning to die back, we recommend mowing down the growth and clearing the debris. Your returning perennials, and any seed dropped by your annuals will need sunlight to germinate in the Spring, so leaving any cut debris on the ground will inhibit growth by blocking out needed sunlight. We don't recommend burning off. This will damage the root structures of your perennials, as well as damage and seed dropped by your annuals.

Q: How tall does this blend typically grow to? Want to plant on my ditch bank alongside the road, but don't want the vegetation to get too tall.
