Original Pavlovic Ointment – BABY CARE OINTMENT – is used for daily care and protection of baby’s skin for the purpose of preventing contacts with urine, feces and sweat irritants. Ointment components are skin protectants (Vaseline), substances with astringent and absorbent action (zinc oxide and talc), occlusives and oil-giving substances (Vaseline, lanoline, fluid paraffin), which, by their hydration effect prevent close contact between urine, sweat and feces ingredients and soft and sensitive baby and child skin. Besides, oily substances in the preparation formula, by their occlusive effect, enable protection and reparation of insufficiently developed skin barrier (in babies – in constituting phase). In this way, these occlusives reduce TEWL (transepidermal water loss) from skin, i.e., slow down skin drying, thus indirectly moisturizing skin from within. The active component, bisabolol, has anti-inflammatory, soothing and mildly antiseptic effect upon sensitive baby skin. -------- Koristi se za svakodnevnu negu i zaštitu kože bebe u cilju sprečavanja kontakata sa iritansima u urinu, fecesu i znoju. Svi sastojci se preporučuju kao protektanti (vazelin), supstance sa adstringentnim i adsorbentnim efektom (cink oksid i talk), okluzivi i zamaščivači (vazelin, lanolin, tečni parafin) koji svojom hidrofobnošću sprečavaju blizak kontakt sastojaka urina, znoja i fecesa sa nežnom i osetljivom kožom bebe. Pored toga masne materije u formulaciji preparata, svojim okluzivnim efektom omogućavaju očuvanje i repariranje slabo razvijene kožne barijere (kod beba u fazi konstituisanja). Na ovaj način ovi okluzivi smanjuju TEWL (transepidermalni gubitak vode) iz kože, tj. usporavaju njeno isušivanje i time indirektno kožu vlaže iznutra. Aktivna komponenta bisabolol ima antinflamatorno, umirujuće i blago antiseptično delovanje na osetljivu kožu beba.

The best!!
This is absolutely the best baby diaper cream. Amazing texture. I used it with my first child and the baby never had any diaper rash, and now I am using it with the second one and it never fails. Some might be complaining about the price. They are right. It is expensive, but when I look at the prices of other good quality diaper creams in the US, the price is not much different ( and let’s not forget Pavlovic cream is superb in quality). After all, this is imported product.Edit 11/5/22: love the product BUT it has to be packaged better. The cream has to be shipped in a box not unpadded envelope. The creams come in damaged, even leaked a bit. Not okay. I ordered several times already and it was always shipped in a small box until now . I’m hoping it’s just a fluke.

Best diaper cream! No rashes while using this about 1-2 times a day.

Best cream ever!
There isn’t a cream that’s better out there. I’ve used and tried them all. After baby booty was inflamed and after even trying prescription stuff and no help… I went to this cream and two days later it was all clear. Only cream I will ever use. I also use it on my toddlers face and lips when he goes out in the cold to prevent skin from cold burns. This is a staple in our house!
