I have many sets of 箸 (hashi) of varying materials, ranging from inexpensive $1 sets of 竹箸 (takebashi) to 塗り箸 (nuribashi) well over $100. In nearly every situation I find myself reaching for these, my favourite マイ箸 (maibashi). I now leave one set at work, another at home, and keep one set in a 箸箱 (hashibako) I take everywhere.I would more than just advise a purchase... I would recommend purchasing a few. When sharing a meal with friends or family and they are met with the unhappy fate of a tiny plastic spork or the splinters of 割り箸 (waribashi) ... Instead you can share the experience of superior flatware!

These are so lovely! Perfectly cut and comfortable to use. I lost one of the chopsticks that came with a bento kit and the case required this odd 18cm size. Thank you for making these, they’re perfect!
