I just re-wrapped after my Fizik performance tape gave up the ghost. This stuff was easy to install and has adhesive backing. It's long enough for a figure 8 around the hoods with change to spare where I found the Fizik performance tape came up slightly short. It handled a rewrap where I noticed a slight gap that would have annoyed me if I'd left it. The red isn't a deep red and comes up looking a little orange-y. I would probably spend a few more pounds and get something with a nicer overall finish if I had my time again... It really does feel cheap...

Easy to fit, nice padding and good colour. Came with tape to secure it and is longer than needed so gives you a bit of room to adjust.

Bought this because it looked like it had a nice finish, however it's literally just cheap foam tape with some holes in it that aren't even spaced the same distance as the one in the photo. Very disappointed.

Just used for the first time and before doing so was really concerned it would be difficult to get a good finish.To my discovery it is quite simple to do and not worth the worry I gave it. Shamefully due to my concern the old tape has needed replacing since a fall a year or more ago. This box of tape even sat on top of the radiator collecting dust for two months....One point worthy of consideration is that I had thought this was the same tape plain white tape I was replacing but this version has little holes all over it so does look different to my original tape but i actually prefer the look.Great product and really makes the bike look like new again.

Bought this tape for my dad's bike as he had repainted it and fancied a different colour scheme (red and black). Whilst it seems grippy and comfortable enough, it ripped in two places during fitting and the rips gradually expanded until it completely snapped in one place (see photos). You also only get just enough tape for each side, so if you make a serious mistake there is no spare tape. The stickers used to cover the ends of the tape are also a bit untidy looking. My dad says this will do for now but I can't see it lasting as long as the previous tape, which was on there for more than thirty years with not much wear to be seen.

Used this bar tape during a recent service on my 1970's bike to make it more comfortable, and has a nice soft and chunky feel.

While the tape is okay in itself, the adhesive on the back of the tape is of poor quality. It stayed on for an hour or so then started to lift in parts so I had to remove it all and add adhesive. The tape itself is great for repairs though and is easy to put on; if only it had stayed in place. It is for that reason it did not get a 4 star rating.
